As Democrats inch slightly closer to impeaching President Donald Trump, a new Fox News poll shows that Americans who impose impeachment are distinctly in the minority. Trump lashed out at Fox News’ head-to-head poll with Joe Biden this week, but he may have missed the most worrisome result.
While Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi still appears reluctant to dive into the impeachment pool, and the House Judiciary Committee limbers up on the diving board, a new Fox News poll shows that while support for impeachment has ticked down slightly, opposition to an impeachment inquiry has gone down to just 45 percent.
In June, that poll showed 50 percent of Americans favored beginning an impeachment inquiry, including 7 percent who said Trump should be impeached but not removed as president. In July, 47 percent said he should be impeached, including 5 percent who said Trump should be impeached and not removed.
But the theory of political risk in impeaching Trump relies on the notion that the public would strongly oppose such an action, and according to this same poll, that opposition is squarely in the minority.
In June, 48 percent said Trump should not be impeached at all, a number which fell to 45 percent in the new survey. And among independent voters, opposition to impeachment is at just 41 percent.
But the poll does show one possible effect of the Democrats’ reticence to press the case for impeachment. The greatest movement on this poll question was from support of impeachment to “don’t know,” especially among independents. In June, just 5 percent of independents said they didn’t know if Trump should be impeached or not, but in July, that number was at 13 percent. Even then, a plirality of independents still supports impeaching Trump.

When was the last time a poll was correct? They are always proven wrong.
Fake news NEVER reflects reality, the dishonest press is only trying to get their way. You have to be very gullible, easily tricked and weak minded to believe these fairy tales and cock and bull stories. The Fake Stream news does this only to deceive and mislead their fools.

Remember the Democrats have to pay people to show up to their rallies while President Trump has tens of thousands at his rallies.
For the record, I have never been polled.
I only trust one poll. The one that I ask myself and my dogs because I know my dogs won’t lie. So many people lie on polls plus it’s important to know who these people are and where they live who are asked these question.
If we learned nothing else from the 2016 election; it’s that polls can’t be trusted. Remember Trump was the underdog at just 20% chance of winning by many polls taken.

And none of these numbers take into account the effect of Mueller’s congressional testimony this past week, as these polls were conducted beforehand.
quite often the media will have the data out the next day..or even “live” polling on issues ..and always against Trump...
but where are the fresh polls?
How silly.
Impeachment is over.
But the main point is this. Impeachment is not a do over for the election. It is not a popular vote poll. It is for lawlessness. Of the president

What percentage of those who are unopposed even know what the word impeachment means?
You must and 12 points to the pro Trump side, that has been the rule of thumb.
Dems would be foolish to continue down this path. It will consume the election year process and backfire into dozens of races. They will lose.
Why go thru the expense and trouble reporting news when it’s much cheaper and efficient to just make news and keep it going no matter what.

Fox polls are the worst.
I lived and worked in Wisconsin during the Scott Walker Act 10 era. ALL the stops were pulled out... as much as could be done at the state level, with the unions trucking in extra loonies from Illinois.
When the dust settled, the needle didn’t move. The crazies only succeeded in driving non-loonies to vote in the judicial and recall elections.

Mark Dice put out a hilarious video asking Trump haters what they thought about Trump’s sons going on safari and trophy hunting Triceratopses and Wooly Mammoths and Saber Tooth Tigers. Of course they all sounded caring and concerned and were highly opposed to such activity.Those are the same people who SAY they want Trump impeached but they have no idea what the word means.
Those polled should be asked a follow up, what “crime & misdemeanor” did POTUS specifically commit to be impeached?
Then ask them to name the two US Senators representing their state. Then report the results as those who know their Senators, and those who don’t. Those who “pass” and want impeachment are demokraps.
This is payback for BJ Clinton getting impeached. Nadler was front and center then defending him.
