I supported our actions, and I supported the troops. I gave money to military causes (and still do) and had my own boots on the ground standing up to the likes of Code Pink and MoveOn outside Walter Reed and elsewhere in Washington DC, because I thought it was the right thing to do.
Did it work in the end? No, that is clear. But after 2000 of our fellow Americans were murdered in the course of a few hours, it was clear that doing business as business had been done wasn’t going to work.

Trump peeled back the curtain on the farce that the Bush’s are, and it was hard for some people. W’s demeanor after 9-11 endeared him to a lot of people. And to his credit, he earned it. But he squandered that goodwill.
The S. Carolina debate where Trump ripped the Bush’s was jarring, but was totally necessary to knock the Neocon out of a lot of the right.

Bush’s Iraq war was the biggest foreign policy blunder since Vietnam. Just add up the soldiers killed & maimed and the borrowed money spent on Iraq war to jack up the already ugly national debt....and....compare it to the results!
It does not take a rocket scientist to understand what a blunder attacking Iraq was. Middle-east is now the biggest mess and headache for US. It was not even close this bad before Iraq war.
