This Congresswoman told the group of Qatari officials, who have invested in her, that @SpeakerPelosi is happy that she is being investigated, because recently, they had rebelled against her (Pelosi). Also, she hates the pressure coming onto the party because of her.

The plan of this Congresswoman is to make all of this “go away” and strike a deal with @SpeakerPelosi, to put her cases aside, if she puts the case of this Congresswoman aside and ignores it. This is Qatar’s goal in DC with regards to this Congresswoman.

However, in the case of this political marriage, one party may see separation/divorce as the best way to save themselves!
He has already been approached by officials. He knows that they have evidence of fraud. He does not want to go down on the sinking ship with her. He has to protect himself and his children and he has to stay in the country.
So it sounds like he may be looking to cut a deal to save himself and his kids. It also sounds like this is quite a serious case as spousal testimonial privilege normally only occurs in criminal cases.
On the other hand, both of them may have behaved rather shadily in the past, so this could just be another trick.
We really don’t know exactly how this will all play out… but it certainly is fascinating to hear about the turmoil behind the scenes!

Tawhidi is one of the genuine good guys. He NEVER preaches violence for any reason and is among the very first to denounce violence by Muslims and instead encourages Muslims to integrate into the cultures of their adopted countries. He’s not a Jew-hater and opposes BDS.
