Back by popular demand, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will present a talk at The Glimmerglass Festival on July 26 at 4 p.m.
Justice Ginsburg will share her passion for opera and her perspective on law in the arts. The program will feature members of the Glimmerglass Young Artists Program enacting selected scenes that deal with law and justice, followed by Justice Ginsburg’s insights.
This is Justice Ginsburg’s sixth time presenting at The Glimmerglass Festival.

The Glimmerglass Festival is an opera and musical theater festival presenting new productions every July and August. The 2019 Festival will feature new productions of Kern’s Show Boat, Verdi’s La traviata, Corigliano’s The Ghosts of Versailles and the world premiere of Jeanine Tesori and Tazewell Thompson’s Blue. The Festival will also present Britten’s youth opera, Noah’s Flood, and an adaptation of Tchaikovsky’s The Queen of Spades. The 2019 Festival runs July 6 through August 24.

I want to know what treatment she received for her latest bout of cancer because it is clearly NOT one that is available to the average citizen...
I have had friends and family members who were half her age and diagnosed early and they still died, but she gets pancreatic AND lung cancer, in her 80s, and survives with a just a few weeks off to recuperate from having part of her lung removed?!
This story has never passed the smell test and now she’s out and about, giving speeches and accepting awards?! What the heck? Soylent Green?
My daughter lives twenty or so minutes from Glimmerglass (we live about an hour east of our daughter). Maybe she has friends going who can confirm the sighting, although her husband is from the area and so their friends are considered red necks and love President Trump.
Maybe she is alive afterall.

I think your post falls under the heading of Trying To Obfuscate The Issue. We’re talking about RGB, who clearly is alive despite some nut job conspiracy theories I’ve seen here on FR.
I have a friend who has bar privileges before the SCOTUS. And for the record-he’s as right wing as Jim Rob. He was Roe’s attorney after her conversion, when she fought to get the decision overturned. He’s seen her in court. Yes-people who are pushing it are idiots. This isn’t pizza-gate.
She’ll rock her worshipers with tales of enabling brutal killings of developing babies and trying to remove Peace Cross.
