An Impeachment Trial Would Take Away Trump's Control Of The News Cycle

If Donald Trump has to be acquitted, much better for it to come at the hands of a group of people as corrupted and partisan as the Senate Republicans.

Robert Mueller remained tight-lipped and cautious during his much-hyped testimony Wednesday morning. But the hearing highlighted two things: First, there is a real opportunity for a televised trial of President Donald Trump's behavior; and second, such a trial, if it harnessed all the theatrics and color that Democrats can muster, could seize control of the news cycle from the man who has dominated it for years.

It has been a tough few weeks for House Democrats committed to their strategy of holding Trump accountable via the justice system rather than the impeachment process.

Actually, an impeachment trial would put the real criminals in full view of the American people and make a real trial of their very real crimes inevitable. Right now that real trial of those real crimes is not inevitable, which is a very very sad miscarriage of justice.

I welcome impeachment.

I want the subsequent real trial of real criminals for real crimes against the American electoral system that would inevitably follow the impeachment trial.

This is truly bizarre fantasy. Impeachment trial, after the Mueller travesty? Whew...

Putting Trump on trial AFTER his presidency, as so many leftists have stated they wish to do, would ALSO light that match for Civil War 2.

It is my belief that, unlike the deluded Democrats, many of the wishy-washy Republicans may now fully believe that Trump’s position as leader is now secure.

I think that he may now, finally, at long last, get the full cooperation of the GOP, with even such never-Trump fools as Romney and Kasich finally losing their grip.

Congressman Jerrold Nadler

“Jerrold”... Cute, like “Antwan”, “Jaxon” or “Aleesha.”

Trump has to finish his term PROVING that these people lied and are the real criminals.

If he leaves office with no one in jail and a democrat is elected, they will ruin his entire family and anyone who looks like him.

The libtards have to learn they cannot use the government to do their dirty work.
