The whole Franken thing was meant to hurt Trump in a sort of we Democrats take it seriously sort of way. I love it when a Dem takes one for the team and then the team loses anyway. It's a win win.

His Saturday Night Live stint seemed to help him.
Even part of that hit like a thud on the floor when it was offered up.
By and large, I’d have to agree with you.
I don’t get it. His platform made it impossible for me to ever support him.

Regardless, The Senate is a much better place without Franken. Definitely smarter.

Thanks. I agree with you in principle, but our people in the military are a captive group, in that they can’t just leave the scene of their appointment.
Having to spend the rest of their assignment with this jackass might be very uncomfortable for a woman who had been disrespected.
As you intimate, all women should be treated with respect.

The whole Franken thing was meant to hurt Trump in a sort of we Democrats take it seriously sort of way. It didnt work. Trump was elected and Franken is out. Sort of a win/win.Franken's ouster was really about Roy Moore. Everyone thought Moore was going to win and then there'd be a move by both parties to expel Moore. They'd have no ammo if Franken was still in the Senate after facing his own #MeToo violations. Franken, at the urging of Kirsten Gillibrand, fell on his sword.
And then Moore somehow manages to lose the safest Republican seat in the Senate.
The whole escapade was comical.

When did former Playmate Leeann Tweeden become “conservative talk show host” Tweeden like this was all just a set-up?

I “regret” that this nitwit LIB loser isn’t in prison for the fraud involved in stealing the election in the first place. What a pathetic excuse for a human. To top it off, he apparently likes to sexually assault women.

To be fair, like you, it would irritate me far more if the woman had been in the military.
I think we are both on the same page here...

When was it when a Conservative put Franken’s lights out at a Press Dinner? Does anyone remember Franken getting set on the floor by someone he irritated much too often?
To: conservative98
I don’t think he should have resigned...
I’m a man and get on. I’ve had women walk right up and plant a kiss on me.
Never bothered me...

If Al Franken had refused to resign from the Senate, then I believe that Roy Moore would have won in Alabama.
Democrats would have been in the impossible position of defending why Franken should stay while Moore must go, and Alabama Republicans would have retaliated by sending Moore to Congress.
