Sen. Krysten Sinema (D-AZ) shot to stardom because of her progressive values and ability to win in a red state. Sinema made a surprising move when she joined a handful of Republican Senators and Joe Manchin (D-WV), who wrote a letter to President Donald Trump encouraging him to implant a pilot program designed to weed out fake asylum seekers. The goal is to deport those who arent truly in fear of their lives and have valid asylum claims without adding to the immigration backlog.
"This pilot program would apply to families who aren't claiming 'credible fear,' which of course is the first threshold in seeking asylum," Sinema told The Arizona Republic. "If someone says 'I left my country because I can't make a living,' (or) 'it's hard to take care of my family' that's what we call an economic migrant."

She’s a Democrat who is willing to tell the truth about asylum laws that were crafted specifically to enable this sort of abuse.
Or maybe internal polling suggested to her that perhaps a more public hard line on the border issue was needed to get re-elected...
... and then just continue to support the democrat subversion efforts afterwards.
She’s certainly more vocal that Martha McSally here in AZ.
I am quite surprised that Sinema approves of this.
We have a bingo!
A curiosity for sure and kind of hot. An unpredictable rat is better then the back stabbing traitor McCain.
Has Sinema been red pilled? One can hope.
She has surprised a lot of folks for her independence. It’s good she won the race against McSally.
The only thing she has done is figure out that she wont be re-elected in AZ acting like a dem. But she will vote with them 95% of the time. Mcsally on the other hand is just a typical gop rino.
Yep she’s a Democrat but seems like she’s not a sheeple. Hope she keeps it up. Better than McLame and Better than Flaky, also from AZ.
“Watch Your A**”: Jacky Rosen Appears to Warn Fellow Dem ...

In the clip, Sinema is seen standing and applauding Trump while all her fellow Democrats near her sit stone-faced and not applauding. Rosen slowly stands up right next to Sinema and with a sideways glance appears to mutter, Watch your ass, at Sinema, then sternly looks away. Sinema acknowledges Rosen with a defiant nod and stays standing.
This woman is turning out to be a pleasant surprise.
Bingo.
Amazing, ain’t it?
They’re so damn transparent.
This is all about stealing the seat that the worthless mcsally currently occupies in 2020. Mark Kelly is going to run the same way as sinema and mcsally will lose again because she doesn’t know how to win
It’s all part of Sinema’s little Commie narrative. Code Pink don’t do right without a larger plan.
From what I have seen so far she might lean libertarian and center with common sense and concepts of reality rather than support full blown liberal fanatical fantasy bubbles.
It may be too late for her approach, because vetting with a finer tooth comb doesn't address the mess they've already made. Stabilize that and we can talk. Build the wall.
This brings up an interesting idea. She’s an Arizonan, and thus very different from her colleagues since she knows firsthand how bad things are at the border. Perhaps our House and Senate could be divided into “conferences” like college sports — Southwest Conference, Northeast Conference, etc., — which would decide issues related to the various regions of the country. It galls me no end, for example, to hear some smug New York pol pontificating about land use in the West when he’s never been further west than Chicago. Similarly, why is some Oregon representative voting on a bill impacting steel workers in Michigan? The full House and Senate could of course vote on truly national issues, but it seems like regional issues should be left to the regional representatives who actually understand them.
Or maybe internal polling suggested to her that perhaps a more public hard line on the border issue was needed to get re-elected...
... and then just continue to support the democrat subversion efforts afterwards.

Bingo.
Her current stance is all kabuki theater.
She’s for it now, because it has no real traction in the House. If it gains traction in the House, she’ll be loudly against it.
And her base won’t remember a thing otherwise and if anyone says anything, they’ll just be racists.
“...Shes an Arizonan, and thus very different from her colleagues since she knows firsthand how bad things are at the border....”
She’s a democrat. She is NO different than the rest of them.
All other considerations are null and void. With them, it’s Party before Country, always.
There are Americans... and then there are democrats.
“...Perhaps our House and Senate could be divided into conferences ...related to the various regions of the country. ...
It’s a great idea, but they’ll never do it.
