From sanctuary cities to brutally high taxes, California is the undisputed center of gravity for todays far-left. If you want to see how liberal policies would look on a national level, you dont have to imagine it. You can just look at the thousands fleeing the once-great state.
In the latest chapter of Californias descent into liberal madness, the city of Berkeley a hotbed of radical liberalism became the first city in America to ban natural gas from new homes and businesses, including restaurants that use natural gas for stoves.
Environmentalists are reportedly hailing this development as a major victory, and it might not be an isolated incident. More than 50 other cities in California are considering following Berkeleys lead.

Are they switching to buffalo chips or good ole firewood?
Electricity made from burning natural gas. But outside of Berzerkley.
First they came for the natural gas. I said nothing.
Then they came for the Mexican restaurant frijoles. I said nothing.
Then they bulldozed Taco Bell. I said “Where’s my burrito supreme, pintos ‘n cheese and nacho fries?”
Too late. Too late.
P.S. The woman at my Taco Bell told me my beloved pintos are going off the menu and won’t return ever. Won’t have a touchscreen listing.
Burning natural gas for electricity and then using that electricity for heating and cooking is ridiculously inefficient.
A few years ago, the African nation of Malawi passed a law Banning farting in public. I’m guessing that the San Francisco Bay Area will try that idea next.
Maybe if they line up some magnifying glasses up just right, they can use solar power to cook. People can go to a restaurant and order a steak - oh excuse me, I mean cooked Tofu - and come back in a week when it’s done.
We all know Taco Bell won the franchise wars and is the only restaurant in town.
And not just Berzerkeley. I spotted an ad for new homes in Irvine and they were boasting that it didn’t offer natural gas.
Both cities have branches of the University of California. Proximity to a UC causes madness.
Hi.
People don’t call Berkeley, Bezerkely for no reason.

Taco Bell....
But think of the gas they produce. Don’t we care about the ozone layer in the few years left of this planet? First the cow flatulence and now this controversy. /s
I saw “Roasted Seaweed” bags in the store this morning. An alternative for us?
Hopefully they’ll soon propose banning exhaling anywhere within Berkeley’s city limits. All of that CO2 going straight into the atmosphere... something has to be done about it.
Farting in public is protected under the 1st Amendment.
While their forest fires dump 10 times the Carbon in the air that the entire city of SF every year.
Liberalism/progressives - Will demand that you and family freeze hungry in the dark so that they can feel better about themselves.
Turn off all the electricity to Bezerkeley. It comes from NG.
If they ever do a remake of Demolition Man in the future they will have to swap out Taco Bell for Chic Fil A.
Sorry, they will just tax it.
Cool, guess there’ll be lots of chargrilled burgers. Or, perhaps they’ll mandate that all restaurants must cook on solar ovens.
Farting in public is protected under the 1st Amendment.

The sound is familiar to Democrats; it is their second language.
They can interpret it, and thus call themselves bi-lingual.
