Rep. Al Green says the US House will vote between 4:30-5 p.m. ET today on his articles of impeachment for President Trump; it remains unclear if Democratic leadership will move to vote to table the resolution, vote to send to cmte. or vote to proceed with the resolution.

If this passes in the house and unless there is something tremendously helpful to be found during discovery it might be best to minimize the time spent on this foolishness in the Senate. Less than 20 minutes sounds about right, then a quick vote and then back to something useful such as approving judges.

Highly doubtful it will get a vote on the floor. Too many Dems don’t want to be on the record at this stage voting for impeachment.
I think they timed it with these recent tweets. They probably realized that the Democrat Cong are riled up.
What’s most interesting is that Omar just yesterday said “It’s time to impeach.” Like clockwork, the Dems are following her leadership.

I predict that the vote will succeed and the impeachment charge(s) will be sent to the senate where the vote will fail.
At this point, the left has to pass this in order to stop the internal bloodletting. Nancy is cornered and this is their only practical way forward, IMO.
