This Paper Has Climate Change Deniers Very Excited. Just One Tiny Problem (only 11.51 years left)
IFL Science ^ | 7/16/19 | James Felton

Climate change deniers have been getting excited about a recent paper published online titled No Experimental Evidence For The Significant Anthropogenic Climate Change, which goes against the widely accepted scientific consensus on climate change based on many years of climate data.

The paper, yet to be accepted for peer-review but published online on pre-print site arXiv, claims to "prove that the changes in the low cloud cover fraction practically control the global temperature" and the recent United Nations IPCC report (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) failed to include this. The authors claim that human contribution to global warming, estimated to be around 1°C over the past century, has thus been overestimated and is actually about 0.01°C.

"The IPCC climate sensitivity is about one order of magnitude too high, because a strong negative feedback of the clouds is missing in climate models," the authors of the document write.

"If we pay attention to the fact that only a small part of the increased CO2 concentration is anthropogenic, we have to recognize that the anthropogenic climate change does not exist in practice."

Bold claims, but with one tiny problem: It is, of course, nonsense.

The socialist hoax deniers never quit.

Do you know what date that Comrade AOC made the 12 year claim?

Science uses the scientific method.

Climate-change “science” uses computer models.

Computer models are not science.

Any questions?

It was in January of this year, January 22 IIRC.

That was 175 days ago.

A 12-year span of time, starting on January 22, 2019 and ending on January 22, 2031, contains 4383 days.

That means that 175/4383 = 3.99% of the 12 years has elapsed as of now, today.

The number of days left is 4383-175 = 4208 days.

That's 11 years, 6 months, and 6 days, or 11.5209 years.

Which is a bald faced lie.

Looks like you've got .01 of a year longer to exist on the planet than I do. Let me know how it goes.

So, IFL Science, a site that claims to be science based, employs a failed humor/comedy writer and political blogger with no science credentials, to “peer review” actual scientific papers. Sounds legit.

Climate-change “science” uses computer models.

When it comes to computer modeling if the modeling is in error the results are in error.

The left are the people who treat disease with crystals and magnets. They are hardly ‘scientific’. Current computer modeling of climate is horribly crude and inaccurate. From a computing perspective, current climate modeling is the equivalent of Atari Pong as compared to Grand Theft Auto or Assassin's Creed. It's definitely not hard-edged science.

The evidence I have seen published in many scientific papers consists of the description of a problem and discussion of its causes, with the phrase “because of climate change” gratuitously tossed in without further explanation. Regardless of how many papers contain this phrase, it does not add up to documented evidence of anthropogenic climate change.

Not sure about this any longer, but the original climate models could not model cloud cover because they don’t know how they are formed (not he same as composition) or predict when they will form.

For years, I’ve been beating my gums about the impossibility of modeling cloud cover and its effect on global temps. Clouds change by the second...low altitude clouds have a cooling effect...high altitude clouds reflect solar radiation back to earth and have a heating effect...can’t model or predict this stuff.

The atmosphere behaves like fluid motion...not easy to model fluid motion.

You are so correct on that!
I am a member of a group that is involved in recommending alternatives in the re-writing of the forest plan here in Idaho on our local national forest. After 30-years of total failure to manage the forest, the USFS big wigs have decided to re-write the management plan.

It is amazing how often the new draft plan contains reference to "Climate Change" as justification for adapting or rejecting some management alternative.

I have let them know my position on this scam.

"Bold claims, but with one tiny problem: It is, of course, nonsense[, because we say so without further explanation]."

There! Fixed it.

Consider that night-time temperature typically doesn’t stop dropping until sunrise (Sherlock issue).

In fact, darkness caused by shorter duration solar eclipses seems to drop temperatures more quickly in midday, heat-trapping CO2 than the nighttime sky does. Correction welcome.

Temperatures dropped during total solar eclipse

Also, it's not surprising that Los Angeles, despite having probably more than its share of illegal immigrants breathing out "earth-warming" CO2, had a record-breaking low-temperature February in 2019.

Global Warming: Los Angeles Never Reached 70º In February Since Recordkeeping Began (MARCH 1, 2019)

Get rid of unconstitutional federal funding for politically correct global warming and global warming alarmism will disappear overnight imo.
