According to Megan Rapinoe, the championship victory afforded to the US Women’s Soccer team was only made possible because their star players are lesbian. Yes, she actually said that. Not only that, standing in front of thousands of fans, many of them children, she unleashed a blistering F-Bomb not caring who heard it or who it offended. When our National Anthem played during the celebration, all she could do was smirk and refuse to place her hand over her heart. I could be used as proof of discrimination. Imagine a straight player saying “You have to have straights, they’re better”. The gay community would be exploding, especially if a talented gay player didn’t make the team.
So Ms. Rapinoe, if you had to decide between two players that are basically equal - but one was gay and one was straight, which would you choose? What if the straight one was just a little bit better?
She’s basically guilty of the very same bigotry that she accuses others of.
That team is the shame of America.

Another odd thing about this women’s soccer team besides its gayness and vulgarities is that not once have I heard anyone thank their coaches. Usually, champion teams go out of their way to thank the coaches and usually the coaches make a public statement on how great the players are. The coaches on women’s soccer are invisible.
These people disgust me.
