Anka will be performing in Israel for the 4th time. He recently performed in Israel in March.
Canadian-American singer, Paul Anka, told those pressuring him to not perform in Israel to "f-- off," in interview with Mako on Thursday.
"I told them very delicately to f-- off," Anka, who is of Syrian and Lebanese descent, said with a laugh, "Can you say that on television?" Anka will be performing in Israel for the 4th time soon, Mako reported. He recently held a concert in Israel in March. The 60s and 70s legend said he received calls from people urging him not to preform in Israel.
"I am happy to be back in Israel as usual," Anka said in the interview. "How could you not like it?"
Anka is a crooner, famous for songs like "Diana," and writing Frank Sinatra's hit, "My Way." In the interview with Mako, Anka was also asked how the 77-year-old stays in such good shape. Anka recalled growing up and seeing Mafia men and people in Las Vegas drinking and not really taking care of their body.
"It's very simple," Anka said. "If you do things right - you got to live good, you got to eat good and you have to take care of your body."
"Remember all those years ago, everyone was wondering if I was DOING Annette..? I WAS..!!!"

Do you have a source for your quote about doing Annette? I did a search and could not come up with anything more than his wanting to get alone with Annette. He wrote the following about when they finally did get alone:

Not even Jewish, a Middle Eastern Christian. Typically they hate Israel nearly as much as our buddies out there, but even so, they don’t get into the terrorism crap.
So, good for him, if more people simply took them head-on like him, the world would be a MUCH BETTER PLACE.
Kiss and tell is one thing. This reminds me of when George Costanza was losing at trading insults with a co-worker, and finally says, “Well, I had sex with your wife.” Then he finds out that the guy’s wife was in a coma.
George didn’t know about the guy’s wife, so he kind of had an excuse and wound up just looking stupid. Paul Anka, like everyone else, knew about Annette, and had no excuse.
I don’t know what kind of person Anka really is, but a few years back, when he was playing in Chicago, they had a big billboard of him with a scowl on his face that made it appear that he had smelled something really bad. He and his people obviously had a different view of that photo. To me it made him look like an unpleasant piece of work; as if maybe that’s the kind of expression he wears if he ever has to pull off the “do you know who I am?” routine.
Having said that, I’m with him on the BDS issue.
