You appear to confuse license with liberty. The "freedom" to SIN is not freedom, even when it's based in bad law, "legal." And, you don't seem to realize that THEY are the ones wanting to strip everyone ELSE of our true freedoms. I can see that you are a "seminar caller."

How do you feel about the restrictions now placed on Christians who profess their beliefs that abortion, sexual perversion, is wrong? Are they allowed those same freedoms you stand for those who have “sexualities”?
How about those “immigrants” or “migrants?” Die for them too?
Would you also die for those who claim FGM is a part of their religion/right and their Freedom? Would you die for the oh so numerous animal rights activists who claim an animal means more than a human? Are you willing to die for the unborn who are a political issue, a womens’ issue/right to their body/reproductive rights?
Are you willing to invoke our Constitution and die for the illegals that cross our borders daily? They just want to be free!
Are you willing to give financial and social and governmental reparations for the descendents of slaves or those who claim to be descendents of slaves? Are you willing to give half of your income to correct those wrongs? Are you or any of your dependents receiving governmental/taxpayer benefits for being non-white?
Are you willing to die for those who believe Islam and all it entails? Or is it just the gays you’re willing to die for? And what if the illegals, gays, baby killers, jihadists, feminists differ in their most special most important cause? Which one do you pick/die for?
And please feel free to point me to founding document that specifies sexual perversion/choice...

My almost silly use of the word “legal” regarding sexuality was just to prevent a FReeper coming at me with “well you must just love pedophilia or bestiality” BS because I accept homosexuality.
I do not need to twist myself into knots to understand that some people are attracted to their own gender. Or that some men have two girlfriends. Or that some people do not like sex. Or whatever. It’s all their business and doesn’t affect me.
You have a more strict, larger list of perversions than I do. That is ok. I see the Constitution as not dealing with what it doesn’t enumerate, so the fact that it didn’t deal in detailed sexual peccadilloes is not a great argument point for you.
I abhor the agendas to children: childhood should be unsexualized.
I abhor interference of religious people to safely practice their religions. No one should be forced to bake for ceremonies they don’t approve of, or sell abortifacient pills. There are some grey areas, like renting in a rental building, where the owner might have to obey fairness laws, or get out of the rental business. A gay couple has more of a right to find a home than they do to have a specific baked cake celebrating their union (since plenty of other bakers would happily make it).
I said I would die for this country (hopefully not while my kids still need me) because I believe in it. I didn’t say I’d die for illegal aliens or any of the other out of breath panic scenarios you concocted for me.

Back to the subject at hand. May I assume every loudmouth here keeps up a monthly pledge? If not you disgrace yourself. Pay for the right to assault me with your cri de cours. I do.

I’ve been a good supporter for just nigh 20 years. I have nothing to be ashamed of. But now that there is a legally married homosexual with an unfortunate last name running for President, I expected this site to ask members to chill after a few threads filled with gay slurs about him. They aren’t even funny; it’s Beavis and Butthead level comedy, and it’s really a slur about his lifestyle (when by all accounts he’s a pretty decent person - not picking up hookers and crack on the DL like Obama, for example). I’d like the same respect given to people of different religions or races around here given to someone like him. But I was told I was the one with the problem here, so while I theoretically respect that, I don’t consider it a good place to spend my few dollars. I wish I could. This is definitely a special Internet place for me.
