President Trump announced Thursday he would sign an executive order to obtain data about the U.S. citizenship and non-citizenship status of everyone living in the United States.
In a Rose Garden ceremony, Trump said he would drop efforts to include a citizenship question on the 2020 census. Instead, he'll sign an executive order directing all U.S. agencies to provide the Department of Commerce all information they have on the U.S. citizenship, non-citizenship and immigration status.
"We have great knowledge in many of our agencies," Trump said, flanked by Attorney General William Barr and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross. "We will leave no stone unturned."

what ever number he comes up with through the agencies will be blocked again by the USSC for use in the congressional districts, because the info did not come from the census.

All that would have to be done is to not call them Census Workers, and not have it organized by the Department of Commerce, and send agents of some other federal department to every house in the country to take Roll.

How does anyone get an accurate count of those people who don’t want to be counted?
Also, just because you aren’t a citizen doesn’t mean you are in the country illegally. For example, there are about 13 million Lawful Permanent Residents (Green Card holders), about a million international students and a million and a half legal guest workers.
Not an expert. I just know he will loose in court when he tries this method.
The Rats will next complain "it isn't accurate" -- BECAUSE they won't let the question on the freakin' CENSUS!!!

Maybe it's a 4-D chess trap on Trump's part - he can point and laugh when they say the departmental data's "too inaccurate"....
