AOC is a woman of color. Thing is - that color is white. The tendency of left-wing white Hispanics to call themselves people of color - as if their ancestors were slaves - is nauseating.

Slavery was legal in Puerto Rico until 1873. West African Slaves worked for the Spanish extensively in mines and sugar cane plantations along with other less significant occupations. Given her somewhat obvious light complexion, I would not be surprised to find a couple of slave owners in AOC’s ancestry.
