Hmmmmm, somebody is lying. Should be pretty simple to determine who, or is it “whom”?

Sorry but Acosta let Epstein go. There are plenty of people coming forward saying the evidence was overwhelming and they were befuddled when the lowlife was not prosecuted. Don’t want to see Trump damaged but this guy Acosta for whatever reason did something very wrong.

That’s what I thought at first, but after reading some pretty detailed articles on this yesterday I’m not so sure anymore. One of the things I didn’t realize at first was that the case was getting more difficult to prosecute over time because so many of the witnesses were suddenly being uncooperative.

The investigative reporter at the time said the State Attorney for Palm Beach County wanted to let Epstein off entirely.

The problem for Acosta was that they were state charges....not federal.

This “Twitter” posting would tend to be at odds from an earlier posting from Daniel Greenfield at Frontpage...

“The media is very eager to talk about Acosta. It seems much less interested in bringing up the name of the guy who gave Jeffrey Epstein a pass.

Barry Krischer.

There were really just two people willing to risk their careers to go after Epstein: Palm Beach Police Chief Michael Reiter and Detective Joseph Recarey.

In their first on-the-record media interviews about the case, Reiter and Recarey revealed new details about the investigation, and how they were, in their view, pressured by then-Palm Beach State Attorney Barry Krischer to downgrade the case to a misdemeanor or drop it altogether.

Krischer and the lead state prosecutor on the case, Assistant State Attorney Lanna Belohlavek, began to dodge Recarey and Reiter’s phone calls and emails, and they dragged their feet on approving subpoenas, Reiter and Recarey said.

“Early on, it became clear that things had changed, from Krischer saying, ‘we’ll put this guy away for life,’ to ‘these are all the reasons why we aren’t going to prosecute this,’ ’’ Reiter said.”

Didn’t Krischer take his evidence to the grand jury and only came out with one count of soliciting prostitution???

If Acosta is right, this guy is either a complete moron, or is bought-and-paid-for. He’s been the state’s attorney in Palm Beach County for 16 years...knowing the kind of money and influence that lives there and how they like to spread it around to make problems go away, I’m with Acosta on this. He also provided the media with a detailed timeline and other information which the real journalists will fully vet and verify.

What’s this guy got? Let’s see the proof for his story and let’s see how he disproves Acosta’s facts. Or someone needs to follow the money.

Wasn’t Acosta told by “higher-ups” to go easy on Epstein because he was “intelligence”? Who would those “higher-ups” have been?

It’s a matter of record Krischer was going to give him probation and no sex offender registration.

This is misdirection. Krischer is talking about what Acosta did or didn’t do to redirect attention away from what Krischer did. He’s the one who let Epstein plead guilty to minor state charges and receive a slap-on-the-wrist sentence.
