President Trump, meeting with Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani at the White House Tuesday, said his administration will look "very carefully" at Labor Secretary Alex Acosta's handling of a past case against Jeffrey Epstein, but praised Acosta's work as labor secretary.

Throwing Acosta under the bus would be used as an admission of guilt. Screw the left, start pointing to the frequent flyer group. Clintons are grifters. They stayed close to the money, billy boy is a sex adict.
Obama decision is the Acosta action regarding Epstein. Not hard to put where it belongs.
Acosta stayed silent about it and stuck around.
Not the actions of an honorable man, not to my mind.
Throwing Acosta under the bus would be used as an admission of guilt.
Guilt for what? If Acosta went too easy on Epstein - Im not saying he did, but if he did - why should he immune from accountability?
If there were Dem bigwigs who partied with Epstein, did Acosta go after any of them? Should he have done so?
If those dots can be connected, its show time. Hope youre right. To me its a no brainer.
Obama decision is the Acosta action regarding Epstein
Correct name if Im wrong, but didn’t this plea deal happen when Bush was president? Did Acosta serve under Obama? I thought he served under Bush. ?
How is Obama involved? I thought Acosta served under Bush? (And Im not blaming Bush, just trying to get timeline right)
This belongs with Bush - NOT Obama. I've seen this tossed about on some Q Youtubes and here on FR. Holder was not the AG when JE got the deal of the century and Obama was not the President. Bush was the president and there were two AG's that this would have been overseeing this case: Keilser and Mukasey.
JE pled not guilty in 2006 and the deal was reached between the two parties - over breakfast (between the buddies - Acosta and Lefkowitz) - in October of 2007. He finally pled guilty in June of 2008 to that single charge and that was that. That's 7 months before Obama.
Holder didn't take over until February of 2009. This is on Bush and his team ALONE.
Not only did he “go to easy” on Epstein, he BROKE THE LAW while doing it.
He was obligated to consult with the victims prior to any plea agreement and he did not.
He isn't - you are correct...and I think Bush IS to blame. What I figure happened was JE was about to go nuclear with info and basically stated: "If I go down I'm taking everyone else down with me." - IOW - the Samson option. He probably had/has video tapes of all the sick stuff (and I don't mean just pedo stuff) that went on there and it implicated people all over the world - Bush's fellow swamp creatures (and we now know he's a swamp creature) and his Saudi friends. So - they made a sweet deal and made up some Bear-Stearns stuff to make it sound legit.
Mike Cernovich warned the Trump Administration about Acosta when he was being considered for Labor Secretary, but it went unheeded.
Cernovich was the person who first sued to get the files unsealed, Not the Miami Herald.
I am too, this continuous web is a curious thing. Conspiracies arent exactly my thing but swamp slime runs deep. I can see lots of crap happening when absolute power corrupts. Ron Brown and Seth Rich come to mind. Uncle billy Clinton, Mena Arkansas, Vice President ex head of CIA GHWB getting beat in 1992 then GWB winning the White House. Man the beat goes on.
When the Political Left attacks, Trump just walks away from his maimed and wounded Conservative “allies.”
Roy Moore, Scott Pruitt, Steve King, another Cabinet Secretary who's name I cannot recall, two of his District judge nominations who did nothing wrong, another under-Secretary at EPA who recently resigned....
Trump just walks away.
According to Acosta and his entire prosecution team, there was insufficient evidence to charge Epstein with any federal crime in 2008.
And Trump just walks way.
It was Robert Mueller who arranged the plea deal with the judge because he wanted to use Epstein to go after Bear Stearns. Acosta signed off on it, and he probably shouldnt have done so, but this was Muellers m.o.
Exactly, it was Mulehead.
Re: Acosta was obligated to consult with the victims prior to any plea agreement and he did not.
I have read that Epstein paid compensation to 40 women in the Acosta case, and that Acosta told the women there was insufficient evidence to charge Epstein with a federal crime.
In any event, what is happening now, involves women who claim they were abused by Epstein in the 2002-2005 period.
What was the proper solution for Acosta in 2008?
Is the U.S. Attorney supposed to publicly advertise for all unknown “victims” to come forward and file criminal complaints and civil lawsuits against Epstein?
That’s not how the law works - thank God!
I heard in Trump’s words that he will find out who drove the decision, and why. That was not Acosta.
This would have been GWB or Mueller, I think.
It’s possible that the president wanted Acosta in his cabinet, making a perfect target for the dems to attack. It will be interesting to see what information Acosta has to reveal when the time is right.
