A video is going viral online of a hockey coach telling his players,
“We’re not women’s soccer. We’re not the NFL! If there’s anybody here who is going to be disrespectful to either the American or the Canadian national anthem, grab your gear and get the [bleep] out now because you’ll never see the ice in this arena. We don’t have that problem in hockey, we’re better than that but there was no sense in wasting anybody’s time if that shit was going to happen.”
The coach is referring to Trump-hating soccer player Megan Rapinoe and former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

A room full of white men, probably some Canadians, Americans, maybe some Europeans. Respect for both national anthems is MANDATORY. No excuses, no exceptions. If you don't like it GTFO.

Trump should invite that guy to the White House — rather than fruitlessly try to earn points with women by praising soccer teams that disrespect the flag and politicize the game.
I would leave out the patriotic comment and say if you are patriotic or not no one on team time disrespects the anthem without bringing the whole team, the fans and the owners with them
And that is one thing I truly admire about George..he has NEVER played the race card.. ever.
When this take a knee thing started, I switched to the NHL. Never looked back, bought season tickets, have had a blast.

I think that Tiger has been generally apolitical, though he is certainly friendly to the current President (and Trump respects that Tiger has been a winner, despite some of his personal foibles.)
Additionally, his father served proudly in the US Army, and I don't see Tiger stomping on any flags...ever.
Perhaps Tiger will use his position to be the anti-Kaepernik, Nike be damned.

This guy, and his son, are gutty and great for their decisions to place country over petty politics. These guys don’t need a MAGA hat. They live it without having to show it off. These are your heroes, not women’s political teams.

The vast majority of American PGA tour players are very patriotic. If they aren’t, they keep it to themselves. The PGA tour raises a great deal of money for veterans. Many tournaments give free tickets to active duty and retired military, some even to all veterans.
If love to know what team he coaches. It would be funny he was a Hockey East (the SEC of college hockey) coach...

In a walk by comment made by Fuzzy Zoeller at the 1997 Masters, he made a comment about the probable years winner, Woods, concerning his selection at the players dinner next year being fried chicken.
I was watching Wood’s reaction and he laughed it off as Zoeller was a known jokester. It was reported that Woods later received a call from Jesse Jackson and the next day, attacked Zoeller in the media to the point of almost totally destroying him publicly and professionally costing him millions of dollars in revenue and forcing him to apologize to numerous people about a bad joke. In 2013 he publicly went after Sergio Garcia for the same thing. He should have learned by that time that it was a joke with no malice. He also allowed himself to be the poster boy for mixed race marriages with his parents and his until he was caught with over 25 infidelities. Apolitical? Not on your life.
