Donald Trump has renewed his attack on the UK's ambassador to Washington, describing him as "wacky", "very stupid" and "pompous".
In a series of messages on Twitter, the US president said Sir Kim Darroch had been "foisted upon the United States" and is "not someone we are thrilled with".
Mr Trump wrote: "The wacky Ambassador that the U.K. foisted upon the United States is not someone we are thrilled with, a very stupid guy." The president continued: "He should speak to his country, and Prime Minister May, about their failed Brexit negotiation, and not be upset with my criticism of how badly it was handled.
"I told @theresa_may how to do that deal, but she went her own foolish way-was unable to get it done. A disaster!
"I don't know the ambassador but have been told he is a pompous fool.
"Tell him the USA now has the best Economy & Military anywhere in the World, by far and they are both only getting bigger, better and stronger.....Thank you, Mr. President!"

$140 bil in exports to the US last year...
Note to the UK: You need us, but we don’t need you.

...The 1961 Vienna Treaty on Diplomatic Relations, which codifies concepts such as diplomatic immunity and the inviolability of embassies, gives states quite a bit of leeway on kicking out diplomats. Article 9 states, The receiving state may at any time and without having to explain its decision, notify the sending state that the head of the mission or any member of the diplomatic staff of the mission is persona non grata or that any other member of the staff of the mission is not acceptable. In any such case, the sending state shall, as appropriate, either recall the person concerned or terminate his functions with the mission.
Insulting a host country
A very stupid move
Even more stupid for leadership to publicly support it
Theresa May is not serving her country well...
Unless her intent is to purposefully abandon the
Historically close relationship
Two can play that game...
Who is “attacking” whom?
Like fighting a zombie, POTUS went for the necessary headshot.
The president is understandably livid over this impolite, undiplomatic breech of protocol. He has nothing to lose by coming forward and expressing his displeasure.
Especially, while seeing the Prime Minister continue to support and defend this ambassador.
Theresa is peeved that she’s being pushed out, and is figuratively
‘breaking windows’ on her way out of office.
Were it up to Theresa, this 11th Hour drama with the EU would have lasted for the next couple of years with no real advanced seen at all. She has a politician’s vanity, and is unable to see it logically.
We need to keep this guy (President Trump) he is a fighter!
The establishment of British Conservative Party are very hostile towards Trump.
Trump has just rendered Sir Kim The Stupid useless as an Ambassador
to the U.S. Sir Kim The Stupid did not have to write his nasty, personal
memos about Trump. All he had to do was to tell his government to watch
CNN and MSNBC. They could have listened to the same fake news he
wrote in his memos.
Trump has rightfully frozen him out. Sir Kim, The Stupid will have plenty
of time to take tours of the U.S. and write his nasty memos. But that is
all he will do. He is not welcome in the U.S. anymore. He is now just another
useless idiot.
Wacky, very stupid and pompous PM May supports him 100% ,LOL
Is this a fall guy when the UK’s involvement in SpyGate comes out or is he a relic connected to those players?
Either way, this guy is toast.
“But that is all he will do. He is not welcome in the U.S. anymore. He is now just another useless idiot.”
What are the Vegas odds that this moron was in on Steele’s dossier?
He (like many) always was a useless idiot. It is just out in the open now. More popcorn.
Odds are high.
“pompous”...
Definitely... A very common trait of the British upper caste.
Amen to that!
No other republican alive would fight back like he does.
He’s the ultimate counter puncher.
A president should not get into a Twitter snit with a mere ambassador. Just tell the Brita that he’s no longer welcome. He’ll be gone the next day.
