Nike.com has sold more USA women's jerseys this season than it has of any other soccer team's shirt ever. Combined with strong demand for French, English, Brazilian, and Nigerian women's team shirts, the sportswear retailer's sales of tournament jerseys have more than tripled compared with the last Women's World Cup in 2015.
Sales of men's jerseys followed suit, nearly doubling as more countries offered women's shirt designs in men's sizes. Women snapped up training and lifestyle apparel tied to the Brazilian, Nigerian, Chilean, and Chinese teams, lifting Nike's sales of women's tournament-related apparel by more than 150% compared with 2015.

If a man went walking around wearing a woman’s soccer jersey, what would that tell you about him? Would you be inclined to hire him ,associate with him or introduce him to people you know and value? Very much doubt most men would want anything to deal with such a person.
Watching the behavior of those women was embarrassing. Their cocky attitude, the over celebration, turned me off soccer for good. Everyone loves a winner, not everyone loves an arrogant winner.
Well, that’s not fair. Such inequality as I have never seen!

Heard this on the drive home, so I can’t vouch for it, but Men’s 6 Billion, women 140 Million.
Chicks, get more competitive and entertaining, and maybe you’ll earn the same pay as males. So long as you need your little league, no one would mistake you for the top of the sport. You’re an adjunct of the Special Olympics, act like it.

Great - but show me the hard numbers.
Increasing sales from $1,000 to $2,500 is a 150% gain.
But that would be almost meaningless for a large company.
