In yet another protest of immigrant detention policy far from the Mexico border, hundreds took to the streets in Boston Tuesday in a “Jews against ICE” demonstration that saw 18 people arrested.
Marchers chanted and waved signs on a route that took them from the city’s Holocaust Memorial to the South Bay ICE detention facility at the Suffolk County House of Correction.
The rush hour protest disrupted busy roadways in downtown Boston, and the Boston Globe reports that police arrested 18 who had linked arms in front of the building’s entrance.
Video shows more than a dozen people dressed in white singing as police from the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department lead them away from the facility’s front steps.
The protest came after another held by a group of Jewish activists in New Jersey, 36 of whom were arrested outside an ICE facility on Sunday. In both cities, the protesters rallied behind the slogan “Never Again” and compared the reportedly overcrowded and filthy detention camps at the Mexican border to historical concentration camps.
“As Jews, we’ve been taught to never let anything like the Holocaust happen again,” the Boston group that organized Tuesday’s march wrote on Facebook.
“From our many Jewish histories of detention, violence, and migration, both in Europe and all over the world, we know that we’ve seen this before. But the legacies of violence, white supremacy, detention and genocide are alive and well in our communities.”

Well since this is NOTHING like the holocaust and you DEFINITELY were not in a camp, STFU and be thankful you’re in the greatest country on earth because your ancestors had the b.lls to come here.
And stop trying to turn this country into one of the places your ancestors ESCAPED from.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
Stop voting 70 to 30 in favor of a party that WANTS to make this country like the ones your ancestors DESPERATELY needed to escape from.
Trust me. They HATE you and you will be one of the first groups to go.

I bet PLENTY of Jews in Germany at that time wished they had an arsenal in the house.
Unless you’re STUPID enough to think you will be in power (you will not, you will be rounded up and slaughtered) you will NEED those guns.

They don’t speak for me (a Jew) with this nonsense. These detention centers are precursors of a holocaust as much as the line at the DMV or the waiting room at the ER are. And when they make someone wait at the door of their home before letting them inside, they must be Nazis.

But many Jewish folks have ancestors that paid a horrible price at the hands of socialists and communists.

Not sticking up for these obviously liberal Jews’ political opinions, but I find it odd that a group of people can protest mostly peacefully and get arrested while antifa can beat the hell out of people and the police are ordered to stand down, and antifa and occupy wallstreet thugs can stop people from entering places and the police do nothing-

My S-I-L works in a private ICE Detention Facility. They bend over backwards taking care of these Illegal Invaders who are living the high life ON OUR DIME compared to the conditions they lived in their Shithole Countries of Origin.

The majority of us Jews do not think like this. The media wants you to think it’s everyone. It’s not.
We also need to remember that many people here in the US, who claim to be Jewish, do NOT support Israel.
