I learned long ago to stay away from religious discussions outside of my immediate family.
Religion and politics are areas where one treads lightly in conversations with strangers.

My church is a MESS but I got the Bible to go by and no man dictates my beliefs over the Bible.”

I have come to the conclusion that, nearly 2,000 years removed from the days of Christ and the Apostles, just about every denomination has allowed false teachings and discrepancies to take root. Corrupt men have always thrown on the cloak of belief and piety for their own ends.

The problem with the Catholic Church is that for most of modern history it has been the dominant Christian denomination and has therefore been the biggest target for those opposed to the teachings of Christ.
Decades of infiltration has had an effect.
All the other denominations are now infiltrated and showing some of the same problems.
In the end it is the individual and their belief in the bible that determines the individuals outcome.

Jeff Sessions with Trump's approval went after child trafficking from the get go. It puzzled me at the time because it wasn't the reason Trump voters elected him.

Sessions main focus was on rebuilding the morale of US Attorneys Office. Trump made it his priority to manage McConnell so Federal Judges would get approved asap.

Since Trump is a longer range planner than most politicians, I wonder whether this Epstein case was on his mind all along? If the Prosecutor in charge of this case is a Trump replacement of Preet Baharra, then this case may unfold in unexpected ways, such as Dershsowitz's late in life conversion. Did Dersh see this coming?

Something is about to come down with Comey. His daughter is breaking a diversion. Whether this is a Cohen strategy trying to get Epstein to lie against Trump or just trying to steal the front page.... who knows.

I had a great many good influences on me growing up. That isn’t to say that I immediately took their words to heart. Many lessons they taught didn’t take root until I got older.

51 isn’t too late.
Its only too late after your final breath.
I’ve never tried to make myself over willy nilly. What I did was pick one aspect of myself that needed changing and worked on it until I got it right.
Having a less than high school education I was always quick to anger when I felt my intelligence was questioned. That was the first thing I tackled. Once I could control myself on that issue I found it much easier to change how I responded to other things.
Change comes slowly and one thing at a time, but it’s worth it.

Saw a thread earlier on Free Republic that said he was an FBI informant, and this is precisely why he got special treatment on those charges in Florida.
