Westside, actually Beverly Hills to be exact, not the 90210 part though LOL..felt it pretty good here, I was standing up at the time(For previous earthquakes I was either in bed or sitting down, first time ever standing up) just kept on hearing a noise and wondering what it was than it hit so went into the doorway, my sister in laws parents live in Summerlin, Nevada they felt nothing but they were in the pool at the time

Ah, got it. For a moment I thought I’d posted a pork loin recipe six months ago that you just now responded to. LOL I just remember that it was a good mini-series, by Stephen King standards. The TV adaptations of some of his work in he 90’s were pretty spotty, IMO (see: The Langoliers). The actors playing Flagg and Trash Can Man were good casting choices (I’ve like Matt Frewer since his Max Headroom days). But I never drilled into it so deeply that I noticed the pork button on his jacket.

The 7.1 was a 1-in-20 chance of happening after the former 6.6. Now, some seismologists are saying there is a 1-in-20 chance of a bigger one hitting very soon. One predicts it will happen between now and Tuesday, July 9.”

Which one gave it 1-in-20?

Which one said between now and Tuesday?

That is a good question. Coso last erupted probably 30 thousand years ago.

You do know there is a tunnel from China Lake to Area 51, right?

It is on the Internet.

Stay away from the TV and you’ll be fine.

They didn’t really mention in the series.

The buttons were in the book.

I always thought The Mist was pretty horrifying with the worst/best shock ending, ever.

Lots of future The Walking Dead cast members in there.

Weird.

The 1-in-20 was a quote Lookner/Agenda Free TV had from some woman seismologist.

The 'big one by Tuesday' was from the guy who was doing live reports at the link below:

I had fun with a 7.5 in Mexico City in 1957. A friend was downtown near their 40 story “little Empire State”. He said prostitutes were running out of buildings, and crying to God to forgive them their sins.
