"Because look, the only guy that we know that has said for sure that Mifsud is a Russian asset is guess who? James Comey. Just about a month ago in the pages of the Washington Post," he added, referring to an opinion column that was written in May by the former FBI director and vocal critic of the president.

Strange stuff out there...

It’s really not strange. Mifsud was not a “Russian agent” as Comey is a liar. He was an FBI possibly CIA asset and although not proven definitively YET, it will be.

"Claiming the Post is "jumping back into the Russia hoax water," Nunes questioned why such a report would come out when only one person has described Mifsud as an asset of Russia, and it was not even Mueller."

I give the Post far more evil motives than Nunes does. The Post is certainly aware that the entire Russian Hoax is that - a hoax. But they are also aware that the entire upper level of the Obama administration faces criminal charges if the full extent of the hoax is exposed. The Post, along with the rest of the liberal media are attempting to sustain the Russia-Russia-Russia myth until the 2020 election is over, so that enough liberal idiots turn out to throw Trump out of office. It's the only way to keep Obama and his cronies out of jail.

Mifsud has denied that he told Papadopoulos the Russians had Clinton's emails, and a Swiss man claiming to be his attorney, Stephan Roh, told the Post that his client is a “Western intelligence element to be protected" and claims that Mifsud has ties to Russian intelligence are “defamatory accusations.”

.....

Guest host Dan Bongino asked Nunes why, if there is legitimate belief that Mifsud was a Russian agent, there has not been a damage assessment.

"If Mifsud was a Russian asset — my God. You’ve got the FBI, the State Department, the U.S. Congress. All of our allies, NATO, Boris Johnson. I mean, they’ve all been compromised by this Russian asset, famous Russian asset, Joseph Mifsud. So look, The fact that they’re not doing a damage assessment, Dan, I think tells you in the American people all you need to know. Highly unlikely that Mifsud is a Russian asset," Nunes said.

***************

Hmmmm. The plot thickens. It would appear that the Post is, once again, planting stories in a timely manner to protect their Deep State allies.

Because the Washington Post is an asset of the CIA. Everyone knows this.

Re: Top Putin advisor Vladislav Surkov

May 31, 2019

Rep. Devin Nunes (R-California) on Robert Mueller’s May 29, 2019 (final?) press conference:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Nunes: "He [Mueller] was so blatantly dishonest yesterday that he says, well, the Office of Legal Counsel says that you can’t indict a sitting president.

Well, he should have been gone after day two.

He has no Russians, except for the Fusion and Clinton Russians, and possibly the dirty cop, the FBI’s Russians, those are the only Russians that he has, to show connections to the Trump campaign.

Clearly, the Clinton operation is heavily working with Russians or Russian disinformation.

He didn’t take time to look into any of that[!]”

Partial transcript above begins at about the 1:34 mark in the video:

Devin Nunes 'likely' sending obstruction criminal referral over Steele-State Department meeting

by Daniel Chaitin | May 19, 2019

Newly released notes from an Oct. 11, 2016, meeting between Steele and former [Hillary-Obama] Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Kathleen Kavalec cast doubt on the reliability of his dossier and called into question the information provided to the court in the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act application that was submitted later that month against onetime Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

The notes, which Kavalec is believed to have emailed to the FBI in mid-October, indicate that Steele knew he had been hired by Hillary Clinton's campaign and the Democratic National Committee and had been told they wanted his findings made public prior to the 2016 election on Nov. 8.

The Daily Caller reported the notes show Steele identified Russian sources, including former Russian foreign intelligence director Vyacheslav Trubnikov and Vladislav Surkov, an aide to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Nunes said Clinton's campaign and the DNC "plainly colluded" with the Russians to receive and disseminate false information about Trump.

“Foreign politicians talk about Russia’s interference in elections and referendums around the world. In fact, the matter is even more serious: Russia interferes in your brains, we change your conscience, and there is nothing you can do about it.”

--Vladislav Surkov, aide to Vladimir Putin

Conservative (patriot) commentator Dan Bongino, May 17, 2019...

"Thanks to recently released notes from an interview the State Department’s Kathleen Kavalec had with dossier author Christopher Steele, a possible bombshell connection between Halper and the dossier has been uncovered.

As discussed earlier in the week on the podcast, those notes also demonstrate Steele failing to keep his story straight between the State Department and FBI, proving how unreliable he is.

In Kavalec’s handwritten notes from their interview she makes note of two of Steele’s dossier sources; “Trubnikov” and “Surkov.”

Surkov is Vladislav Surkov, an aide of Vladimir Putin who is on the U.S.’s list of sanctioned individuals, and Trubnikov is Vyacheslav Trubnikov, who is currently the First Deputy of Foreign Minister of Russia and formally served as the Director of Foreign Intelligence Service.

Interestingly, Trubnikov is an associate of Halper. ..."

Vladislav Yuryevich Surkov

Image result for Vladislav Yuryevich Surkov

Vladislav Yuryevich Surkov (born 21 September 1964)[1] is a Russian businessman and politician of Chechen descent.[2]

He was First Deputy Chief of the Russian Presidential Administration from 1999 to 2011, during which time he was widely seen as the main ideologist of the Kremlin who proposed and implemented the concept of sovereign democracy in Russia.

From December 2011 until May 2013 Surkov served as the Russian Federation’s Deputy Prime Minister.[3][4]

After his resignation, Surkov returned to the Presidential Executive Office and became a personal adviser of Vladimir Putin on relationships with Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Ukraine.[5]

Surkov is perceived by many to be a key figure with much power and influence in the administration of Vladimir Putin.[6][7][8]

According to The Moscow Times, this perception is not dependent on the official title Surkov might hold at any one time in the Putin government.[9]

BBC documentary filmmaker Adam Curtis credits Surkov’s blend of theater and politics with keeping Putin, and Putin’s chosen successors, in power since 2000.[10]

Journalists in Russia and abroad have speculated that Surkov writes under the pseudonym Nathan Dubovitsky, although the Kremlin denies it.[11][12][13][14]

I’m wondering where all the anti Nunes FRiends are
right now. I’m talking about those people who attacked
Nunes and Gowdy for being all bark and no bite. I’ve
stated this before and I’ll state it again:
committee chairmen can only take issues so far before
they have to have the endorsement and support of their
legislative leaders. In the case of Gowdy and Nunes that
leader was Paul Ryan. Enough said?
