Rep. Devin Nunes said there is something "weird" going on with the media's coverage of the Russia investigation, even after special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation came to a close.
In an interview with Fox News, the California congressman was asked to react to a Washington Post report this week focusing on Maltese academic Joseph Mifsud, the man who told former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos the Russians had damaging information about Hillary Clinton and effectively set in motion what would become the Russia investigation. The report critically assesses what Trump allies such as Nunes have claimed about Mifsud, including that he might be a Western intelligence plant.
Claiming the Post is "jumping back into the Russia hoax water," Nunes questioned why such a report would come out when only one person has described Mifsud as an asset of Russia, and it was not even Mueller.

Nunes: "He [Mueller] was so blatantly dishonest yesterday that he says, well, the Office of Legal Counsel says that you cant indict a sitting president.
Well, he should have been gone after day two.
He has no Russians, except for the Fusion and Clinton Russians, and possibly the dirty cop, the FBIs Russians, those are the only Russians that he has, to show connections to the Trump campaign.
Clearly, the Clinton operation is heavily working with Russians or Russian disinformation.
He didnt take time to look into any of that[!]

[Ranking Member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Devin] Nunes said Clinton's campaign and the DNC "plainly colluded" with the Russians to receive and disseminate false information about Trump"
Newly released notes from an Oct. 11, 2016, meeting between Steele and former [Hillary-Obama] Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Kathleen Kavalec cast doubt on the reliability of his dossier and called into question the information provided to the court in the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act application that was submitted later that month against onetime Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.
The notes, which Kavalec is believed to have emailed to the FBI in mid-October, indicate that Steele knew he had been hired by Hillary Clinton's campaign and the Democratic National Committee and had been told they wanted his findings made public prior to the 2016 election on Nov. 8.
The Daily Caller reported the notes show Steele identified Russian sources, including former Russian foreign intelligence director Vyacheslav Trubnikov and Vladislav Surkov, an aide to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Nunes said Clinton's campaign and the DNC "plainly colluded" with the Russians to receive and disseminate false information about Trump.

Conservative (patriot) commentator Dan Bongino, May 17, 2019...
"Thanks to recently released notes from an interview the State Departments Kathleen Kavalec had with dossier author Christopher Steele, a possible bombshell connection between Halper and the dossier has been uncovered.
As discussed earlier in the week on the podcast, those notes also demonstrate Steele failing to keep his story straight between the State Department and FBI, proving how unreliable he is.
In Kavalecs handwritten notes from their interview she makes note of two of Steeles dossier sources; Trubnikov and Surkov.
Surkov is Vladislav Surkov, an aide of Vladimir Putin who is on the U.S.s list of sanctioned individuals, and Trubnikov is Vyacheslav Trubnikov, who is currently the First Deputy of Foreign Minister of Russia and formally served as the Director of Foreign Intelligence Service.
Interestingly, Trubnikov is an associate of Halper. ..."

Vladislav Yuryevich Surkov (born 21 September 1964)[1] is a Russian businessman and politician of Chechen descent.[2]
He was First Deputy Chief of the Russian Presidential Administration from 1999 to 2011, during which time he was widely seen as the main ideologist of the Kremlin who proposed and implemented the concept of sovereign democracy in Russia.
From December 2011 until May 2013 Surkov served as the Russian Federations Deputy Prime Minister.[3][4]
After his resignation, Surkov returned to the Presidential Executive Office and became a personal adviser of Vladimir Putin on relationships with Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Ukraine.[5]
Surkov is perceived by many to be a key figure with much power and influence in the administration of Vladimir Putin.[6][7][8]
According to The Moscow Times, this perception is not dependent on the official title Surkov might hold at any one time in the Putin government.[9]
BBC documentary filmmaker Adam Curtis credits Surkovs blend of theater and politics with keeping Putin, and Putins chosen successors, in power since 2000.[10]
Journalists in Russia and abroad have speculated that Surkov writes under the pseudonym Nathan Dubovitsky, although the Kremlin denies it.[11][12][13][14]

Do you mean THIS Brennan...
CIA Director under President Obama, John Brennan
Barack Obamas CIA chief, John Brennan, told the Annual Legislative Conference of the Congressional Black Caucus, on 15 September 2016, in Washington DC, that when he had applied in 1980 to join the CIA, he admitted to them that in the 1976 Presidential election, when Jimmy Carter was running against Gerald Ford, Brennan had voted instead for the candidate of the U.S. Communist Party, Gus Hall, and that he was then greatly relieved to find that this information didnt cause rejection of his CIA-application.
This had happened 11 years before the 1991 end of the Cold War...

"During the Cold War the CPUSA [Communist Party, USA] had a parallel underground structure, and a small number of people spied for Moscow.
Until the 1980s the party was receiving substantial amounts of Soviet funding, says Klehr, money that the FBI knew about and tracked."
NEW YORK Former Vice President Joe Biden was reportedly one of the few Obama administration officials who participated in secretive meetings during the early stages of the Obama-era intelligence communitys initial operations regarding suspected Russian interference in the 2016 presidential campaign.
The number of Obama administration officials who were allowed access to the Russia intelligence was also highly limited, The Post reported. At first only four senior officials were involved, and not Biden. Those officials were CIA Director John Brennan, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, Attorney General Loretta Lynch and then-FBI Director James Comey. Their aides were all barred from attending the initial meetings, The Post stated. The circle of those who attended the secretive meetings on the matter soon widened to include Biden, The Post reported (emphasis added):
The secrecy extended into the White House. Rice and White House homeland-security adviser Lisa Monaco convened meetings in the Situation Room to weigh the mounting evidence of Russian interference and generate options for how to respond. At first, only four senior security officials were allowed to attend: Brennan, Clapper, Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch and FBI Director James B. Comey. Aides ordinarily allowed entry as plus-ones were barred.
Gradually, the circle widened to include Vice President Biden and others. Agendas sent to Cabinet secretaries including John F. Kerry at the State Department and Ashton B. Carter at the Pentagon arrived in envelopes that subordinates were not supposed to open. Sometimes the agendas were withheld until participants had taken their seats in the Situation Room. From the linked article ----- Former Vice President Joe Biden was reportedly one of the few Obama administration officials who participated in secretive meetings during the early stages of the Obama-era intelligence communitys initial operations regarding suspected Russian interference in the 2016 presidential campaign. That tidbit was contained deep inside a 7,700-plus word Washington Post article published June 23, 2017 in which the newspaper also detailed the highly compartmentalized nature of the original Russia interference investigation and the manner in which other U.S. intelligence agencies were deliberately kept in the dark.

Biden is probably involved in a lot more...
The billions to his son from China and Ukraine (and who knows where else?)
was no doubt distributed around to top people.
(A) Obama and Kerry did the shakedown,
(B) Biden pere and fils traveled to and fro to pick up the billions, and,
(C) they set up the money laundries to pay people off.
I also have a nagging suspicion that the Clinton Foundation was involved. Billybobo had that "pass-through" account.......
Money deposited in the AM was out by the PM without a trace. It could have gone anywhere:
hedge fund, equity fund, offshore account, another foundation.....etc.
Amazing, though Im guessing Muellers testimony to Congress next week will quickly move behind closed doors executive session.
I’m wondering where all the anti Nunes FRiends are
right now. I’m talking about those people who attacked
Nunes and Gowdy for being all bark and no bite. I’ve
stated this before and I’ll state it again:
committee chairmen can only take issues so far before
they have to have the endorsement and support of their
legislative leaders. In the case of Gowdy and Nunes that
leader was Paul Ryan. Enough said?
