The antiwar organization Code Pink brought its 20-foot-tall, diaper-clad balloon of an infant Donald Trump to the Washington Monument on Thursday to protest the president’s planned “Salute to America” Fourth of July celebration.
Code Pink co-director Medea Benjamin said the organization and its members "oppose the politicization of the July Fourth holiday by President Trump."
Trump has ordered the Pentagon to stage military demonstrations, including a flyover of jets, helicopters and other aircraft. Trump says he'll "speak on behalf of our great Country" at his "Salute to America" event on Thursday evening.

Code Pink is a PRO-Communist organization. They aren't anti-war. They and most other groups of the same ilk, never met a bloody leftist uprising or revolution that they didn't support and embrace. I just saw as young (20’ish) Black woman on Fox News in DC wearing a MAGA hat and happy for today. And several other Blacks in the background also with MAGA hats. Back in the 60s I frequented a diner owned by a Greek immigrant(is there any other kind of diner owner). My friends and I thought we were intellectual and we’d talk politics sometimes.

Trump is actually managing to keep us out of war, despite the best efforts of the Powers That Be. Code Pink’s preferred 2016 candidate would have had us shooting down Russian planes in Syria, because .... nobody knows why.

Yes, FRiend, I'm aware of some of the excellent work you've done getting the word out on who and what this group and others of their kind really are. It's sickening the weakness that our side consistently shows on this matter. Even prominent talk show hosts like Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh rarely get into any detail on these communist organizations. Hannity, for example, when he talks about Bill Ayers and the Weather Underground, only refers to them as "domestic terrorists". Bad enough, you'd think. But it misses the all-important 'big picture' on what they and the movement were and are still actually about.
