The antiwar organization Code Pink brought its 20-foot-tall, diaper-clad balloon of an infant Donald Trump to the Washington Monument on Thursday to protest the president’s planned “Salute to America” Fourth of July celebration.
Code Pink co-director Medea Benjamin said the organization and its members "oppose the politicization of the July Fourth holiday by President Trump."
Trump has ordered the Pentagon to stage military demonstrations, including a flyover of jets, helicopters and other aircraft. Trump says he'll "speak on behalf of our great Country" at his "Salute to America" event on Thursday evening.

Code Pink, in case you didn't know, stands with Russia on most issues, including support for Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea, Iran, and yes, Syria.

Russia agreed to provide military training for three leftist regimes in Latin America and increase military visits and exercises following a visit last week to the region by Moscow's Defense Minister Sergei Shoygu, Pentagon officials said.
Shoygu met with defense and military leaders in Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua and signed several agreements on warship visits and military training during the visit, which ran from Feb. 11 to 14. It is not clear whether any new arms deals were completed during the visit.
Defense officials said the Russian leader is seeking bases in the region for strategic bomber flights that Shoygu recently promised would include flights over the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean.

‘antiwar’? Trump is probably the most war averse President we’ve had in a generation, certainly more so than Hillary would have been.
Team Hillary and the DNC were working with the Russians to defeat Trump, as they pretended the opposite to be the case. While in power, the Obama-Biden-Hillary admin bent over backwards to help strengthen the Russians' hand militarily, delivering on Obama's promised "flexibility" time after time, in particular in critical areas such as missile defense, the New Start nuke treaty, the Putin-loving Iran deal, Hillary and Obama's Uranium One deal, where Russia wound up with 20% of our uranium production. So all that tough talk was just that, talk. Smoke and mirrors BS to cover their actual collusion with Russia.

Looks like they were agreeing with President Donald Trump. I guess they changed their minds.
She needs to sit down and shut up. I just finished watching Trump’s entire speech. It was not politicized at all. At no time were there chants of “Trump”, “2020” or “four more years,” but only “USA, USA, USA”. There was nothing about how great the economy is doing under his watch, or anything about a re-election. It was all about America and its accomplishments, with salutes to many distinguished guests and heroes, as well as uplifting patriotic music and flyovers by all branches of the service. Now what’s political about that?
They were simply siding with their Russian comrades who to this day prop up all these communist and other US-hostile regimes.
It’s incredible how this anti-US, pro-communist, phony-baloney “peace” organization consistently manages to get into congressional hearings, despite their long history of causing serious disruptions when there.
They know all about code pink. They are kindred spirits. Don’t waste you breath
Very frustrating. Best was Glenn Beck who went into Code Pink’s background on his TV show.
GOP gave Obama a pass on this. Just pathetic.
