Yep - their proper response, if they were actually bothered by directives they allegedly received from the mayor, should be “If we can’t enforce laws equally against all violators, we will not enforce any laws”.

Not interceding on behalf of an innocent citizen being brutally beaten in fear for his life is a crime and therefor must be disregarded.

What specific law is being broken by the police in this incident? The courts have ruled repeatedly that they have no duty whatsoever to act.

The job of the police is to protect the government, not the citizens.

I am working on building the new county courthouse by the Portland PD and this morning I was coming down the elevator and a detective looking cop with a badge in plainclothes and a guy in a suit got on, the guy in the suit said “ well when is the next big one” detective said “big what ?” , suit said “next big riot”, cop said , “we heard it’s set for the 19th, but this time we are expecting opposition from the right”, I said “ why can’t you just get some kind of warrant and physically block protests by groups with a violent track record” He said “great idea, I wish we could” and the elevator landed

I am thinking that at the next “protest” they may create their own False Flag “Far Right” group to attack themselves, they can target useful idiot tagalongs and blame it on the right and Trump
