Austin has long been the weird, liberal capital of Texas. The rest of Texas just sort of shrugs and puts up with it. Austin is quirky. Austin is odd. Austin lives in its own little world. Austin is also home to some of the best live music joints anywhere and you have to work pretty hard to find a bad restaurant in the city, so its not without its charms. The joke about Austin is that its nice because it's so close to Texas (its the capital, a deep blue dot surrounded by a vast red sea). Austin is like that oddball cousin we all have. Hes there. He picks his nose and argues with light posts. But hes nice and basically no threat to anyone, so whaddyagonnado?
Lots of California expats in Austin.
Just add this city the other liberal shitholes like SF, LA, Seattle, and the many others.
During the Tucker interview yesterday, when asked about the deterioration in the inner cities, Trump said he didnt know what the story is
He said it started about two years ago
I am reading between the lines and getting that this is going on full force and intended to be blamed on Trump by the effective corrupt media
I used to love that town. Nevermore.
Where they vote for the same far left wing crap that they fled California to escape.
Let the liberals live in their own filth.

I was an Austin native. I escaped Austin over 20 years ago and have never looked back.
Thanks for the information.
Charlotte, Charleston and Asheville must be next.Luckily Denver shot down this idiotic law.
I know Austin. Been there many times. And for every snowflake there is a half drunk Bubba with an F250.
Camping out in the streets in Austin?
Ain’t gonna end well.
I came to Austin 25 years ago. Its gone from tolerably Left-leaning to San Francisco lite. Ive decided to make my stand here. We cant get ahead by giving over. Ill maintain an OP till the main force returns.
Where did you move from?
All I see in the Houston are are license plates from blue states :-(
Keep Austin weird...
The Du Jour Cities should be avoided.
From what I understand, Austin isn't Texas these days
