I wear a leg brace so it’s gotta be lace up and have decent support. Crocs are my at home slippers, but just inside the house. Outside I’d be reeling like a drunken sailor without the brace.

My post was a kind of a gag. I was playfully referring to the classic 1950-’60’s shoe that the Couz indorsed back then and all kids wanted. I don’t know if they are still made or by whom.
I had a pair of New Balance that I was wearing for ten + years. Went looking for new shoes because the souls were about gone. Couldn’t find any I liked and thought to ask if they had any of the ones I was wearing? Sure enough. Got the same NB model and size, and they look every bit as good as the wore out ones on my feat to give me another outstanding 10+ years.
