One can preach that all humans are fallen, that Jesus loves us all and died to save us all, and they still become enraged.
1.) We only want tolerance. Then it has become...
2.) Now we demand acceptance.
3.) Now we don’t want to hear anything about homosexuality from the Bible.
4.) Now we don’t even want to hear about Jesus’ love.
5.) Now we want to get rid of those Bibles. Do you know what it says about us?!
LGBTQNPC’s:
We should all tolerate and accept all sexuality and that is why we should have pride marches!
LGBTQNPC’s:
How dare you have a straight pride march in Boston!
Coming soon to the US as well. California will lead the way. Prepare to be persecuted for your beliefs. The sheep and the goats are about to be separated.
Police response in CA and other “progressive” areas of the U.S. unless we have a great awakening:
“Mr. preacher, we heard you preach just the love of Jesus to all sinners and that we are all sinners, but now we have to arrest you because they rioted when they heard you.”
There is an appropriate response to this sort of thing.
Of course they become enraged at the mention of Jesus. Wait until they come into the presence of Jesus....that will not be a happy day when they hear the words, Father, I never knew them. They can then be enraged all they please for eternity.

In John 15:18 Jesus says that if the world hates us Christians then know that the world hated Him first.
Homofacism in action.
the lack of human rights in fascist Canada on display for all to see.
This may not be a popular response here but I have serious doubts as to whether this type of preaching isn’t doing more harm than good. We hate the actions of the anti-gay Westboro Baptists at funerals and we hate the people who try to disrupt conservative speakers. I just don’t think this is effective. There are better times and places to preach the gospel of peace and love instead of confronting participants at a gay parade. Even if someone were inclined to listen, the peer pressure there alone would make that person pause.
Jesus.
Paul.
Peter.
Wesley.
Etc.
They all engaged in street preaching and were all attacked for it regardless of the sermon.
The prophets of old were attacked when they proclaimed God’s word regardless of where they were.
Militant homosexuals have went into churches, disrupted services to send a message to preachers who preached from the pulpit that God will deal with all sin including homosexuality, they got away with it, and now they want to drive all mention of it from the public square, even just a message of the love of Jesus.
How can it be bad anywhere to just preach the love of Jesus.
These preachers cannot even be compared at all to Westboro as they preach Jesus loves us all, the opposite of Westboro.
Great response to such a misguided post.
Continued from post #13:
Since gay people want tolerance and acceptance laws must be passed where they must tolerate and accept street preaching.
If not then we go back to where they do not have to be tolerated and accepted and they don’t have to tolerate and accept Christians either as they clearly don’t now.
The laws would be then you gays hate on Jesus or his messengers if they don’t want to be so-called hated on.
Thanks. I appreciate it.
As I also said, gays do not tolerate Christians now nor did they in the past.
They want tolerance and acceptance but won’t extend it to others.
If we cannot go back to the way it once was (that Christians don’t have to tolerate and accept them and they don’t have to accept Christians either), then why don’t we have laws that if they want tolerance and acceptance then they must also do the same to Christians?
***They only say that Jesus loves them and still the LGBTQNPC’s become enraged. ****
It is a constant reminder of their eventual end, and they don’t want to hear it. There seems to be “safety in numbers” if they can take as many others with them.
I’m not talking content of message but rather time and place. Just a disrupting church services is unlikely to win converts, so is disrupting festivals. It is and should be legal but is it effective?
Sounds like a profound gospel allergy.
Jesus said that if He had been at Sodom and Gomorrah, the fire and brimstone wouldn’t have happened.
And that’s true.
But what’s implied is that Jesus would have COME there only if someone was ready to hear His message. It is a tie into the “10 righteous men” of Abrahamic bargain. In a Jewish context this has another significance. 10 men ritually comprise an authoritative witness. Jesus alone suffices as an authoritative witness.
Anyhow if they even send Jesus away in the person of His believers — if this isn’t just a case of clumsy witness, which is quite common in carnal Christians — yep, watch for some event parallel to fire and brimstone.
If the Lord told them or anyone else to engage in street preaching then it is effective even if it is to just to an audience of one (the Lord Himself). And it is not my place to say the Lord did not tell them. Given their message of love and reconciliation from Jesus I would say they are sent by God.
And it is most likely the reprobates (gay or not) among the liberals of society that most want street preaching shut down as they perhaps unwittingly are taking the gay people (who aren’t reprobates yet) down with them and the Lord knows these gay people (who aren’t yet reprobates and are still receptive to the word of God coming from street preachers) may not ever darken a church door and thus need someone to come to them.
That is why sometimes Christians have to go into the highways and the byways and reach people where they are.
