Megan Rapinoe showed no sign of stemming her outspoken ways after scoring the goals that saw USA march one step closer towards the World Cup final.
“Go gays!” she said after the 2-1 quarter-final victory over France in Paris and when asked to comment on whether it being Pride month made her contribution more personally significant. “You can’t win a championship without gays on your team - it’s never been done before, ever. That’s science, right there!
“I’m motivated by people who like me, who are fighting for the same things. I take more energy from that than from trying to prove anyone wrong. That’s draining on yourself. But for me, to be gay and fabulous, during Pride month at the World Cup, is nice.”
Her latest comments follow the 33-year-old’s row with Donald Trump, after footage shot earlier this year emerged showing her saying: “I’m not going to the fucking White House,” when she was asked whether she would visit if her her team won the World Cup.

In another way, it’s an insult to all the straight players. She’s saying they can’t win without gays like her. So they’re not as good *because* they’re straight? ...bordering on discrimination. Would she favor a gay player over a straight one just because they’re gay?

Exactly right. If I were a straight teammate of hers, I would be ROYALLY PISSED at her.
Of course these days, every young person is immersed in this crap and many buy into it. There was a story this week that may be changing, though. Gay support by millennials is dropping a lot. Maybe they are tired of having this sh!t forced on them, too.
France really stunk.
They blew multiple shots at the goal... and then they would just whine about it for a few seconds.
The blonde was particularly bad. She missed EVERYTHING and then would whine.
Most of the U.S. Soccer big wins in the past were largely due to Goalkeeper Hope Solo. She is anything but gay. When the U.S. coach replaced hr in goal for either a World Cup Final or an Olympic Final, with the lesbian Brianne Scurry, the U.S. lost badly.
Probably the best U.S. women’s player left the team earlier this year because she would not wear a Gay Pride Rainbow logo.
Most of Rapinoe’s goals have come on penalty kicks, that pretty much anyone on the team could have made, so you really can’t count those.
BTW, almost all the current team members are straight.

If Megan keeps her mouth shut, stand up for the national anthem and not insult our President, then yes I would support the USWNT. But since Megan cannot do any of the above and US Soccer refuse to give her consequences, then they don’t need my support.

The angry dyke and the other so-called “US” team members made complete fools of themselves and angered fans around with the world with their antics against Thailand.
I believe the final score was 13-0. Still, after every goal, the US team would celebrate as if they had just won the cup. They were very disrespectful to the Thailand squad.
