Someone is targeting Americans and Americans need to stop going there. My friend suggested DR last September and I just had a bad feeling about it. We went to Florida instead.

I’ve been there about 10-12 times. Best vacation I’ve ever had. The last time was about 10 years ago. I won’t go back.

Ten Americans have reportedly died after visiting the Caribbean country this year. Dominican government officials have said the number of deaths is not unusual and that they are not related.
I will admit that I've seen no reporting as to what is causing these deaths. This guy died after falling ill. No mention of what caused his illness.

I wouldn’t think twice about this, given the number of US tourists there and actuarial tables, but they’re not dying of heart attacks or strokes.
