Clueless Mueller Has to Figure Out What’s in His Report

RUSH: Mueller is testifying. Mueller has responded to the subpoenas. He’s gonna testify before Nadler’s committee. He’s gonna testify before Pencil Neck’s committee. Let me ask you a question. Nadler’s committee, has it done anything but been one gaffe after another? Jerry Nadler can’t run a committee hearing. He doesn’t know how to keep order. He doesn’t know how to keep his own party, his own side in control. This thing is gonna be a cluster you-know-what.

But let me tell you something. The Democrats are not thinking about this. The Republicans are gonna get a chance to ask Mueller about a bunch — And what do you think Mueller’s gonna do? You think Mueller’s gonna come up there with added — you know the fact of the matter, Mueller doesn’t even know what’s in this report. Mueller was a figuredhead from the get-go. He was a rainmaker. The guy’s ancient. He didn’t do all the work to put this thing together.

That’s one of the reasons he doesn’t want to testify, never has wanted to testify. ‘Cause he didn’t really do the work. Look, that’s understandable. When you have seasoned citizens who’ve spent their lives building a career and establishing a reputation and built businesses, their names go at the top of the masthead and it’s the underlings, the young people, people filled with energy that come in and do the work.

I’m not even being critical of Mueller. This is just the way these things work. You’d be amazed, I think, at the number of people who get credit for doing a lot of work who never do any. They have underlings do it all. I have resisted that. I’ve had the opportunity to pass off everything to a bunch of staff, but I’ve not done it. You know why? ‘Cause it’s the fastest way to not knowing anything. It’s the fastest way to have to end up faking it all.

You gotta do the work if you’re gonna be the primary disseminator of the product, you have to do the work, and I don’t think Mueller did. But be that here nor there. He’s now agreeing — well, agreed. He’s got subpoenaed. But he doesn’t want to do this. He let it be known in that press conference he had, that eight-minute job, that he doesn’t want to.

And if he comes in — Professor Dershowitz is already warning — if he comes in and starts ripping on Trump with stuff that’s not in that report or if he starts opining, “Yeah, we really thought we had the president here, but we just couldn’t put the evidence together.” Well, then you didn’t have the president. If he does stuff like that, then he’s gonna get called out. But the thing he doesn’t want, he doesn’t want Republicans asking questions about the dossier.

So what I think he’s gonna do is say, “I’m not answering, congressman, beyond what’s in the report.” Which is gonna be a tough thing because he’s gonna have to really cram to learn what’s in his own report. And what’s the date, July 17th? That’s like three weeks away. If you told Robert Mueller that he’d be cramming for an oral final exam when he’s 73 he would probably tell you you’re full of it.

If you watch Mueller read his 9 minute statement, he's not only uncomfortable reading the script, he's unfamiliar with it.

The first rule of public speaking is to 'know your material'!

He didn't!

President Trump,

This could be your chance to end this silly game, DECLASSIFY ALL FISA Docs and everything else spygate and give them to the Republicans ONLY to use as they see fit the Night before the hearing.

I agree, Mueller probably isn’t that knowledgable about the report. If the GOP asks him questions about his team being all Dem donors, it’s the GOP that will get better soundbites.

Oh, I hope he allows the dumping of a lot of stuff. That would be brilliant. I want to see Mueller totally obliterated.

I’d love to see him plead the 5th, but I don’t think he honestly knows what went on.

Is it even possible to plead the Fifth if they ask question about what he put into his report?

LOL! I’ve been saying he has no idea what’s in it, from the day it was released. He didn’t write it. He let his minions do all the legwork, and they put it all together. He’s got to read it, to know what’s in it. I don’t usually watch hearings, but his testimony, I might have to make an exception for. The last one I watched was Judge Kavanaugh’s Senate hearing with Ballsy-Ford. I wonder who he will have as his legal rep at the hearing. Probably Weissman, or one of the other lackeys who wrote it.

They should ask about specific members of the team: "Why did you chose Mr. X to be on the team?" Mueller: "I don't know. I didn't pick him..."

"The first rule of public speaking is to 'know your material'! He didn't! "

And its why he didn't take any questions after his statement.

I bet Mueller has been studying his Report ever since he gave his nine minute speech. Study study study, Mr Mueller.

You're naive if you think Nadler or Schiff are going to let the Repub side ask any questions.

This is theater for the Dems, not anything more that to get Mueller to provide any reasoning for impeachment.

What would be a surprise is if Mueller keeps stating....."My report speaks for me. I will not elaborate any further."

Technically, no. Prosecutors have absolute immunity, so his actions as SC would generally carry no risk of being charged with a crime.

That said, the entire SC enterprise was outside the law to start with. There is no such thing as SC for "counterintelligence investigation." If the regulations are followed, there MUST be suspicion of a crime to justify appointment of an SC. No such suspicion was raised or stated in the appointment. The appointment has a fundamental flaw to begin with, and Mueller never questioned that.

Plus, the point of SC is to overcome doubts of DOJ impartiality. DOJ reports to POTUS, so is assumed to be servile to POTUS. SC is supposed to be chosen so the public will view the outcome as unbiased, taken with a steely-eyed view. Mueller fails this count in spades, filling his team with DEMs.

There is a larger point in all this. The DOJ is essentially a political apparatus through and trough. The more it denies this fact, the more the fact is seen as accurate.

The public should not trust the DOJ, FBI, or any other of those arrogant SOBs. They lie, they cheat, they steal, and they can skin you with impunity.

No one seems to be talking about what I consider to be really interesting. Adam “Shi_ for brains” says Mueller’s staff will also answer questions in executive session only. The Dims want their staged for TV sound bites from Mueller but will only answer tough questions from the opposition behind closed doors as Muellercwill deflect to that venue when confronted directly. My question would be: Mr. Mueller did you ever find it curious that your assignment was to investigate potential Russian collusion with the Trump campaign but not both campaigns?

The swamp defends the swamp. No evil done here. Especially the courts, they all "apply the law."

It's a sham on the public. Stands to reason, they won't call themselves out as syhsters.

Mueller is going to testify and drop the Mother of all Bombs on the Democrats.

He's going to openly confess to everything.
