That figures. Give a Russian a hwy 10 lanes wide and they'll figure out a way to kill somebody.
It doesnt say why they are blaming him.
Sorry I dont know much about this incident. Is it known he crossed the double line in the center of the lane?
Have you heard any details yet on the sequence of events? I am up in the area, and haven’t heard anything.
They are charging him with negligent homicide (not vehicular) so I wonder if he fell asleep at the wheel, had an equipment failure due to lack of maintenance...or just failed to keep on his side of the road?
Arrested at home on a fugitive warrant?
Did he leave the scene of the crash? And why was he not arrested there if they had cause to arrest days later?
They weren’t trying to kill Germans at Kursk, it just happened from how they drove their T34s.
What is interesting here is the story fails to say why he was arrested. I would assume it’s due to the driver crossing over the center line into the bikers direction of travel.
Looking at the crash scene images the truck’s point of rest appears to be on the wrong side of the highway.
I live up in these parts, and still nothing. If he were intoxicated, he would have been charged with vehicular homicide, I expect. I bet he was looking at his phone.
See #7
Toxicology must have come back.
Seasoned motorcycles drivers n riders will tell you about the million times someone didn’t see them. At least once a day hubby has to dogde somone when we ride.
It is ublikely that 7 riders all got in this guy’s way.
Are they looking into why he kept aiming?
Volodymyr will probably need to be put in solitary confinement for his own protection. Several people with ties to the dead will have issues they’d want to ‘discuss’ with this driver.
Good point.

He was arrested at home as the investigation was on-going after the collision. Once they had evidence regarding who was at fault, they went and arrested him at his residence.
>>Is it known he crossed the double line in the center of the lane?<<
I kind of doubt ten motorcycles were in the wrong lane.
lol....
Voldemort? WTH?
>Arrested at home on a fugitive warrant?

They let him leave after the crash, so I’m guessing they didn’t think he was drinking. They had no reason to charge him at the time I suppose but after talking to survivors and probably looking at his phone records they charged him. I don’t know why he was considered a fugitive, maybe he was trying to dodge them.
I’d like to know this guy’s citizenship status.

I would like to know what the company he was driving for knew about him.
