The bodies of four people — including a toddler and two infants — were found Sunday night along the US-Mexico border, according to cops.
Authorities in Hidalgo County, Texas reported the grisly discovery on Twitter.
“Bodies appear to be 2 infants, a toddler and 20yoa female,” said local sheriff Eddie Guerra at around 9:35 p.m. CT. “Deputies are on scene…awaiting FBI agents who will be leading.”
The bodies were found by Border Patrol agents in the Las Paloma Wildlife Management Area, just southeast of Anzalduas Park, according to Guerra.
A cause of death was not immediately clear, but law enforcement sources told CHANNEL 5 NEWS that the victims showed no signs of foul play. Investigators believe they may have died from dehydration. The FBI was expected to take over the case on Sunday night.

What they don't have is free stuff. Industrious people prosper in Central America. The others pursue a lifestyle of booze, drugs, and nooky. That's a lifestyle that's easier to practice in the USA where the essentials to life can be had for free—housing, medical care, food, even Obama phones.
Ever notice how the "refugees" are well dressed, with new clothes, fancy sport shoes, and everyone has a nice cell phone. And the porcine mamacitas don't sprint, but waddle their heft across the border into the USA. These folks aren't starving.

You’re not wrong, but the clothes you see them wearing are counterfeits, mostly made in China. I do agree that most of the clothes look new which says they are not poor farmers.

Standards of living are growing universally. Even in Africa you don’t have to be really rich to afford new clothing, mobile and even a car. One thing for sure is you have to work hard to get it there.
They were probably abandoned by smugglers when more money was demanded and not paid. Dying of thirst is a terrible death. The mother was wrong to but herself and her children at such risk. But your callous attitude towards their deaths is reprehensible.
Remember when “the FBI will take over” inspired confidence and calm.
I pray that the phrase will return to its former importance.
