his week's big leak about a major Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation was orchestrated by acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan in an effort to sabotage the raids before they were scheduled to take place, according to three current and two former senior administration officials.
In a move he said was to placate Democrats, President Trump announced on Saturday that the nationwide immigration enforcement operation planned to start Sunday — aimed at migrant families who illegally remain in the country despite being denied asylum — was called off to give lawmakers two weeks to work on a plan to fix legal “loopholes” he said have enticed migrants to come to the U.S.
However, all five officials who spoke with the Washington Examiner confirmed McAleenan's decision to go rogue and stymie the operation was what prompted the White House to call off the 10-city operation.

One of the few things I dislike about Trump. This sort of thing has to dealt with quickly and decisively. My guess is the problem only puts some other swamp creature in line for the job.

Not sure what to believe as he has not been fired...behind the scenes maybe be is being investigated...I do not see how a person would be so stupid to cross PDJT this obviously and conspicuously.

I was thrilled we elected a CEO who would fire people for insubordination and incompetence at the drop of a hat. It certainly doesn’t happen often enough or fast enough. The news right now should be that McAleenan was called to the White House for a meeting.

If history is any indication, there is no “now what” about it. He keeps his job, suffers no adverse consequences and continues to leak in the future. The ahole should have been fired the same day the leak was in the paper. Instead, and as usual....nothing happens to him at all.
If true, this is blatant insubordination, and he should have been fired today. Anything else makes the President look weak.
I hope You are right, and McAleenan is a goner. I wouldn’t be surprised if some enterprising poster would find some interesting in his closet that would explain his actions.
