For the first time in Donald Trump's presidency, the NBA has a champion other than the Golden State Warriors, but don't expect the Toronto Raptors' position on visiting the White House during this administration to be much different from that of the Warriors.

Millionaires playing a kid's game won't go to the White House. Trying to give a damn

Now this is a thing of beauty:

President Donald Trump hosted four World War II veterans at the White House on Thursday, keeping a promise made to 95-year-old Allen Jones last June.

“Beautiful afternoon in the Oval Office today with a few great American HEROES!” Trump tweeted Thursday afternoon, along with a video showing his June conversation with Jones.

In order to go to the White House you have to be
INVITED first, it doesn’t just come from winning a game.

Veterans yes, stuck up millionaires no.

Why would an American President invite a Canadian team to the White House, anyway? They should be going to see Justin Trudeau.

Regardless, it is a tradition that is well past its sell-by date.

They aren’t even an American team, so fk them.

Contrast: Indy 500 winner Simon Pagenaud, his car, his crew and team owner Roger Penske accepted the WH invitation. Paginaud, who is French, was very gracious and thanked the president for the honor of representing his country at the White House. Classy.

A pimple on the ass of time sports team.

Who gives a crap. This “tradition” needs to be done away with. Millionaire pampered whiners are not deserving of a WH honor.

There is no other reason to have sports teams over than for a photo op and some fluffy PR. If the athletes instead of smiling and shaking hands with the president choose to spit in his face then there is no reason to do it and every reason to not. Just stop inviting them. Too bad for the ones who would like to meet the President and have a private tour of the White House, tell them to blame their jackass teammates.

Right on! “Professional sports,” just another way to anesthetize the populace while making Black Criminals wealthy without their having to resort to robbery, rape and murder.

Good. Why should the taxpayers be burdened with time wasted showing them around and provide them with snacks and trinkets?

Why would a Canadian based team visit the White House?

Did the Blue Jays or Canadiens come by in the 90s?

American sports leagues should not have Canadian teams.

SCREW the Raptors and the claws they flew in on. I couldn’t care LESS! Most sports organizations would only stink up the White House......(I must say the 2017 ASTROS were very courteous) and maybe a few more since DJT took office. These people have been put on a pedestal way more than they deserve.......again SCREW THEM!!! Our POTUS has his priorities straight....he honors those that deserve it like our veterans!!!
