Twenty-two of Joe Biden’s rivals on Saturday tried to make the case that he’s not the best choice for 2020, mostly without mentioning his name.
Online, critics were less decorous.
Former Alaska Sen. Mike Gravel, one of just two Democratic candidates who skipped the South Carolina Democratic convention, lambasted Biden as “unchanging, unapologetic, unaware” for Biden’s recent comments praising his own work with segregationist Senate Democrats in the 1970s.
Gravel tweeted that the former vice president “is a disaster waiting to happen. If you are serious about beating Trump, you need to be serious about beating Joe and giving us a serious progressive for the White House.”
Meanwhile, in Columbia, SC, candidates tried to steer the conversation around the front-runner.

There is a yawning class divide in the Democratic Party, and Biden is not the man to span it.
The party’s leadership is elderly, white and rich, while a good portion of its base is relatively young, brown and poor.

I think everyone missed what Biden is doing. He’s running for the general election. He deliberately mentioned the segregationist senators around the time he said he will win southern states. He’s tricking all the conservative commentators into saying he’s too conservative for the Democrats. He’s a shallow political hack and very capable of lying about himself.

The way they run their party is the way they would rule a socialist America. The serfs hyped up on “revolutionary” talk while billionaires and oligarchs pull the strings.
There will be no debate
There will be an endless recital of sound bites issued in order of individual priorties
Those who come last will be guilty of plagerizing points already made

Progressives take themselves seriously. All joking aside, it is threatening talk aimed at destroying our Constitutional Republic and should be dealt with as traitorous rather than benign.
South Carolina had a Democrat convention?
And the serfs are increasing in numbers exponentially fueled by mass immigration and higher minority birth rates. Approximately 90% of the 1.1 million legal permanent immigrants who enter annually are minorities as defined by the USG. Immigrants and minorities vote more than two to one Dem. This year, 2019, marks the first time half of the children 18 and under are minorities. Each future cohort that turns 18 annually will be more minority and more Dem than the previous one. Demography is destiny.
Saw Kamal Harris screeching on Fox and Friends this morning. She’s the new Hillary Clintoon. That screeching makes my ears hurt. Nag, nag, nag. Geez.
If Trump was going to bring back school segregation he’d of done it already. OTOH Biden was actually for it when it was happening.
This more about posturing for the 2024 elections and beyond. It will come down to Michelle O being drafted at the convention.
