President Trump approved an offensive cyberstrike that disabled Iranian computer systems used to control rocket and missile launches, even as he backed away from a conventional military attack in response to its downing Thursday of an unmanned U.S. surveillance drone, according to people familiar with the matter.
The cyberstrikes, launched Thursday night by personnel with U.S. Cyber Command, were in the works for weeks if not months, according to two of these people, who said the Pentagon proposed launching them after Irans alleged attacks on two oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman earlier this month.

Can you imagine trying to fight WW1 or WW2 with today's modern press? God help us.
It reads the standard military strike was a rouse to district from the cyberstrikes. Maybe.

Iran is painfully aware of a cyber attack if they happened so get getting upset about this news. Several thousand missile trucks... SAM batteries... Public utilities... The big enchiladas are their command and control plus their nuclear systems.

I didn’t say he did.
he did confirm the NYT leak that he called back the iran strike. he should have left it alone; twitter is an unacceptable place to discuss military operations.

Why does this have to be in the news?
Just do it, you don’t need to let the whole world ( including our enemies ) know.

Soon we’ll be told that the plans were drawn up during the previous administration. BTW have you heard that President Trump merely inherited the growing economy from Obama?

Maybe they got the info from Iran...

I didn’t think you would.

Maybe it was meant as a warning to Iran.

"If the scumbags at the WP know about this there is still is a very bad leak problem."
Unless it was intentionally leaked to force the j.f.kerry backed Persian regime to chase phantom software demons in their defense systems.
