OK, Ok..... Am I a nattering naybob?

My question is that given the presented status of those selected for deportation.... what is a bipartizen effort going to gin up to change the law to prevent the deportation of those who already had their day in court and lost?

I don’t understand the reason for this presidential gambit.

I interpret it as a fork. The president announces he is going to conduct a roundup (one prong). Then he announces he called it off. ( prong two)

While prong one is in abeyance, the congress either acts or it does not. . (subprongs 3 and 4)Regardless, the president wins the second fork by getting the desired action or getting no action which is a point of severe criticism of democrats.

Then, once prong two is played out, he can and in fact must resume the actions of fork prong 1.

win, win

I believe you’re right. He’s a master at getting what he wants in the end.

However, the RINOs, Crazy Nancy, Chuck, the Enemy Media and the rest of the Loony Leftists are probably the toughest crowd he’s ever played!

And I DO mean, ‘played.’ ;)
