Wisconsin's Democratic Gov. Tony Evers on Friday vetoed four abortion bills passed by the Republican-controlled Legislature, following through with his promise to stop the measures from becoming law.

One bill Evers vetoed would have imposed criminal penalties on doctors who fail to give medical care in the extremely rare circumstance where a baby is born alive following an abortion attempt.

Other vetoed bills would have cut off Medicaid funding for Planned Parenthood; prohibited abortions based on the fetus' race, sex or defects; and required providers to tell women seeking abortions using the drug mifepristone that the process may be reversed after the first dose.

Pro Baby Killers will answer for their evil deeds some day. I hope they realize the wages for sin, death. Eternally.

The young women are manipulated, lied to. Many of them are suffering deep depression many years later. There is a 12 Step Program for them to help them recover. A friend worked at a home for unwed girls. Most of them had been coerced into a relationship with an older guy, often a “friendly” uncle. The girls were all under 18. There they were in a home for unwed girls, awaiting birth of their baby, parents had kicked them out. Uncle or older boyfriend just wanted the PG girl and the baby to disappear.

This friend’s husband is now a doctor. He said the girls come to his clinic after the abortion, often with severe damages to her uterus, and parts of the baby left inside her, causing terrible infections. This can also cause death.

My friend and her husband said abortion is mainly to protect the older guy who gets an underage girl PG. Otherwise he would be going to prison. It is such a racket!

Jeremiah 19:5

New International Version
They have built the high places of Baal to burn their children in the fire as offerings to Baal—something I did not command or mention, nor did it enter my mind.

New Living Translation
They have built pagan shrines to Baal, and there they burn their sons as sacrifices to Baal. I have never commanded such a horrible deed; it never even crossed my mind to command such a thing!

English Standard Version
and have built the high places of Baal to burn their sons in the fire as burnt offerings to Baal, which I did not command or decree, nor did it come into my mind—

Looks like the Crypt Keeper! I heard that MOST people who are pro-abortion have already BEEN BORN!

Why am I so anti abortion, on such a personal level...

My mother keeps telling me she never wanted me in the first place. I look at our 3 adult kids, at our 2 young granddaughters, and think, I would have missed out on all of this!

If abortion had been more readily available, she would have had me chopped up and suctioned out.

While Governor Walker did a LOT for Wisconsin, as in DRAGGING HER, kicking and screaming back to Reality, one thing he wasn’t able to accomplish was more protections for our unborn citizens.

Evers is going to be one and done, and then we can get back to The People’s Business. Rumors swirling of Ron Johnson (who is kind of a putz, but not EVIL) running for Governor, with Scott Walker then running for Johnson’s Senate Seat.

Can’t hurt, might help!

Evers really is a POS. 30,000 votes; still don’t understand why Governor Walker didn’t contest it, but after 8 long years of abuse, he was probably sick and tired of us all. :(

I would have favored the governor signing all of these bills. All have merit. But note especially the last one in this listing. Informing women that the process may, for a time, be reversible, so that reconsideration is possible, is a matter of informed consent. This is not an idle hypothetical; there are often deep regret and great emotional conflict involved with the decision to have an abortion, and it is certain that at least some women would change their minds given the chance. Deliberate failure to inform that this is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Surely local churches, right to life groups, and other support organizations know of women who regretted their abortions the moment they walked out of the abortion provider's door. It should not be difficult to find a lawyer to take such a case.

He should go to prison anyway....charged with at least two crimes...statutory rape and murder....Let the RATs oppose or veto that.

And the abortion is the evidence.

What’s really shocking is that Evers was the long-time superintendent of public instruction for Wisconsin. That’s explains the schools and indoctrination of Wisconsin’s youth.

... fail to give medical care in the extremely rare circumstance where a baby is born alive...

Nice to see editorializing in a news story. So, murder is okay if it's "extremely rare"?

I simply cannot understand why a politician would favor infanticide unless that person were inherently evil.

Our first granddaughter was an only child for 7 years until her little sister came along. Before big sister visited her little sibling, she lobbied for just leaving her at the hospital and never bringing her home. But after visiting, and holding the baby in her arms, she did a 180. Today they are inseparable, and big sister is an RN in Labor & Delivery at a local hospital. And little sis leaves for college in August. Praise Jesus!
