When did public demonstrations become “threats”

Or is there more to the story?

If this was socialists it would have said “concerned people gathering as a show of support” instead of “threats” and “demonstrate” even if reality was Antifa going there to riot.

Give me a break.

‘Sen. Brian Boquist, one of the Republicans currently on the lam, sent a warning to state police Wednesday.

‘“Send bachelors and come heavily armed,” Boquist said. “I’m not going to be a political prisoner in the state of Oregon. It’s just that simple.”’

Early Thursday morning, every GOP senator bolted, reportedly for the Idaho line, rather than sit idly in the chamber as their opponents passed a sweeping cap-and-trade bill. Gov. Kate Brown (D) responded by directing state troopers to corral the Republicans and return them to the state house.

But they have no authority outside the state.

As long as they remain outside the state, I would not expect the state police to be able to do anything.

And since when did Oregon become such a police state.

It would be really nice if Oregon voters were aghast enough at the antics of their party leaders to actually vote them out of office next election, but for die hard dems, I am not expecting so much common sense.

Whether there’s an actual threat from a *militia* is speculative.

Considering the Nazi state of Oregon is trying to use the state police to force the senators back so they can railroad their politics through, I strongly suspect the use of the terms *militia* and *threat*.

As far as I can see it, anyone standing up to dem tyranny is considered a *threat*.

Why?

Kumbaya is the losing proposition.

Chaos produces change.

Fleeing legislators has been done before. At least Oklahoma and Texas as I recall. The stalemate is always broken and the party in power are always the winners.

Legislative action in conditions such as this ultimately fail. There is only one way to make things right: Athens, Tennessee. This kind of action is all that will get the attention of politicians and reign them in for just a little bit. The only real way to reign them from their flight of fancy to drunken power is to castrate them.
