I am awful with reusable/portable water bottle stuff. LoL. Will get lost. So distilled water is better than spring water?

Thanks.

Theoretically distilled water is pure — it’s basically water vapor in liquid form.

Spring water could be perfectly fine and might even have some beneficial trace minerals. Which makes it “not pure”. But is that less good? [shrug] Who can say?

The famous TV host “Dr. Oz” had to back down from a similar sensational claim about apple juice 5 years ago. His lab didn’t distinguish what form of arsenic was actually found - the very commonly found-in-nature organic compounds, which are considered not harmful, or the more rare, but toxic metallic forms (ie. no carbon atoms)

Considering these headlines are being generated by an environmental lobbying organization, we can all guess what their goals might be.

One of the problems with distilled is reduced or no potassium or calcium, both necessary for a healthy heart and bones.

I drink tap water with bottled water only when needed from an ice chest when travelingl

PPM or PPB please. Arsenic is naturally occurring in some waters. It does not necessarily pose a danger to human health unless the amount reaches a certain level.

According to the pearl clutching enviros, bottled water is more dangerous for the level of micro-plastic particles they contain. It’s why I’ve reverted to strictly craft beer refreshments.

We used to stop in at the Whole Foods parking lot and people watch the sickly looking hippy types shopping there.

The article devolved quickly into ‘food fright.’ So, I’m thinking if the FDA has not ordered a recall, there’s less here than meets they eye. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some credit cards to eat.

Do not make distilled water your main source of drinking water. To learn more, google distilled water.

Distlled water will eventually pull minerals out of your bones.

No arsenic wanted? Stay away from beer and wine, rice and brussell’s sprouts!

Do you notice they never mentioned an AMOUNT in the article, in fact they changed the subject toward the end to microparticles of plastic. With out an AMOUNT stated, who knows what the liberals “think” might kill them.

My wife will only drink bottled Ice Mountain spring water. Comes from a source deep beneath the surface in Michigan.

I trust her judgment.

I just don’t understand why people pay a premium price for water. Can’t they just fill their canteen at the sink?

Although Poland Springs water comes from springs in several locations in Maine, the name Poland Springs is a place with a historic hotel where people came for the water. The original spring is still there, but thier taps for the water are elsewhere. They are setting up an additional tap in upstate Maine to meet thier every increasing demand. Yet, there are liberal weenies who think Maine is going to run out of water.

Most west coast Nestle water comes from a single source near Hope BC. I drive past the exit regularly.

Arrowhead, Calistoga, Deer Park, Ice Mountain, Ozarka, Poland Spring, and Zephyrhills.

Heck, it got enough rain just yesterday to take care of the needs of half the U.S. for a year.
