Well, that editorial was dripping with all the usual NYT self-righteousness that has evolved from mighty thundering to the present squeaking of an outraged mouse. A still unsourced story claiming covert government aggression against Russia is far more than simply reporting the “news”, it’s an attempt to create it, and it is fantastically irresponsible. No legitimate journalist would ever publish such a thing with the pathetic “just trust us” that the NYT is now passing off as justification. No, we don’t trust them.
You said a mouthful there. These imbeciles are beyond ridiculous.
“The Times stood by its story following Trump’s remarks, stating that “accusing the press of treason is dangerous.”

Oh, yay. Now a failing leftist newspaper thinks it runs the world.
Over the target getting flak!
The NYT are owned by a Mexican foreign national, and not coincidentally are all for open borders. They also have gotten away, including during times of war, of publishing info that helps our foreign enemies. The NYT has been treasonous for too long, and it’s about time somebody said so.
As far as I know, Stewart wasn’t compromised by the Soviets the way his brother was, but he was with the Georgetown Set and shared their Ivy League liberal orientation; and both of them were close to CIA, and they liked to use their position to get news scoops, which created strong potential for leaks. Allen Dulles once cancelled a meeting with them after they published discussions from an NSC meeting, and another leak prompted Paul Nitze to tell them, “You’re not the Alsop brothers! You’re the Hiss brothers!”
The New York Times independent? Ha ha ha ha ha.
I remember when the New York Times was a respected newspaper. that was many years ago
Says the newspaper that has spent years accusing this president of treason and thinks he’s literally Hitler.
Trump in his genius way rips the masks off of everyone.
And ugly people do NOT like getting their masks removed.
Hes gone from misrepresenting our business, to assaulting our integrity,
Guy: So, youre a hooker?
Hooker: Youre assaulting my integrity!
New York Times Publisher A.G. Sulzberger doesn’t mind giving aid and comfort to the enemy. He just doesn’t like being called a traitor after he does it.
Shultzbergers conspiracy to overthrow the government is not protected by the first amendment.
He might in truth be guilty of a capital crime
Think that through. He knows something that is not out in the main stream yet. As a matter of fact when Trump set off a firestorm of this sort he has always been proven correct.....(he does get intel briefings).
So, back to treason. What is supposedly coming out is that most MSM outlets have been accepting foreign money to shape news in foreign countries favor and against our interest. Yep, our news outlets are paid for propagandist for other countries. We are down to about 6 major owners of news..... Now look at those owners that are not Americans.... Lastly look at what they have done to Trump and this administration..... Much is coming and Trump is just preparing the way.
The New York Times assumes that they are too big to be held accountable because of their interpretation of the 1st Amendment. What they don’t realize is that they keep poking the bear of the great American silent majority. They might regret that they “woked up” this sleeping giant with their liberal BS and they are not above the law like they think they are entitled to be. They are not the 4th branch of government.
The Slimes and this response is simply laughable.
I think it’s actually sedition but treason works too.
Note where it was published. All pretense is dropped, The WSJ and the NYT have officially joined forces against Trump.
“He added that the Times has sought to serve America and its citizens by seeking the truth and helping people understand the world.
There is nothing we take more seriously than doing this work fairly and accurately...”
Hee hee ho ho ho. Is Mr. Sulzberger trying out for a comedy role on the Borscht circuit? He should invest in a Groucho Marx moustache and wig.
The Wall Street Journal should be ashamed to be publishing this farce presumably as a serious op-ed.
Everyone in the news business knows what the NYTimes is about.
