Uninformed is fixable. I find it bizarre someone could not figure out that acronym on their own.

Too many acronyms in the world. Mostly they exist as an entry barrier to a particular vocation or trade. Things like DASD (IBM hardware) or PPAP (Manufacturing Engineering).
