Now Mr. Savage is an outlier once again, dismayed more each day as the budget deficit continues to swell, thousands of new migrants are apprehended at the border, and the wall Mr. Trump promised to erect and make Mexico pay for remains unbuilt.
“Read my lips: no new immigrants,” Mr. Savage said one recent day, taking a swipe at what he says is just one of the president’s major unfulfilled promises.
But his skeptical take is not something many of his 7.5 million weekly listeners seem to want to hear as the president prepares to kick off his re-election campaign Tuesday with a rally in Florida.
“To too many people he’s not a human being, he’s a demigod,” Mr. Savage said one afternoon after wrapping up a broadcast from his home studio, which sits on a hilltop overlooking San Francisco Bay. This especially includes his colleagues in the conservative media, he said. “It’s embarrassing to listen to some of these people.”

There simply is no other alternative to Trump.
MS is a jealous little twerp who, instead of going after all the commies on the left, singles out Trump. He’s nuts. And, yes, Trump is our only chance.
I always though Weiner’s act was just a big schtick.
Who cares about Savage? He’s not even on in NY anymore.
I can’t stand Weiner. I have doubts about all these politicians including Trump. I don’t see an alternative right now. Trump is the only game in town.
Just to note, some may not know, Weiner is his legal name.
Michael Savage is a stage name he adopted for his public persona.
Some of his points are valid, of course ... but the good doctor is not real happy with President Trump since Trump has become quite close with Sean Hannity (and will appear on his program tonight). Savage really doesn’t like Hannity ..........
Savage is a nutcase and always has been.
Wonder if he’ll now join up with Glenn Beck.

I had this guy pegged as a fraud years ago. He’s in good company, though. I know the talk radio business pretty well, and most of the big personalities in that industry are frauds.

I’m generally a Savage fan also, but the AM radio format drives me crazy. the shortened periods and numerous ads means arguments are mostly just catch phrases and very general.

I agree that most of them are doing schtick. “I am a great American!” Do you consider Limbaugh to be a fraud?

You know I’m a Savage fan, and some of his points are valid.

Savage is his own man. He does blow warm and cold at different times, but he is solidly conservative. The New York Slime scours the terrain everyday in search of anything negative on Trump. They caught Savage on one of his days when he was down on Trump and, of course, that’s news for the Slimes. I respect Savage because he is unvarnished and lets his audience know what he thinks. He was perhaps the only conservative talk show radio host who pegged Obozo as a fraud from the oughtset and wasn’t afraid to call him a usurper.

He joined up with Stabby the Clown Glenn Beck (who admits he “might have voted for Hillary Clinton”).
That’s pretty much all I needed to know to make me wary again.
