President Trump kicked off his re-election campaign Tuesday night with a rousing rally in Florida that culminated with the president raking in a stunning $24.8 million in less than 24 hours.

“@realDonaldTrump has raised a record breaking $24.8M in less than 24 hours for his re-election. The enthusiasm across the country for this President is unmatched and unlike anything we’ve ever seen! #trump2020 #KeepAmericaGreat,” Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel tweeted early Wednesday morning.

According to one RNC spokesman, the cash was flowing in at $1 million an hour, FOX-10 TV reported.

For comparison, former Vice President Joe Biden collected in $6.3 million in the first 24 hours after he announced his candidacy, and Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont hauled in $5.9 million.

RNC Communications Director Michael Ahrens pointed out in a post on Twitter that Trump’s haul crushed his opponents fundraising efforts. “For those keeping score, that’s more than the 5 highest polling Democrats — combined.”

Absolutely true. Read the fine print on any solicitations for donations. The GOP siphons off 25% of all contributions to Trump. Supposedly you can specify where you want the money to go but I don’t believe that. The RNC is leeching off of Trump and will grab every cent it can to support RINOs who work against him.

They truly are - I receive mail from them on a regular basis, asking for money and always in the guise of a survey pretending to be from the president himself.
The fine print says without some cash accompanying said survey, it will not be read. They finally quit calling after I changed to an unlisted phone number.

I will always send it directly to Trump. If he gets more than he needs and wants to pass some on to loyal Republican candidates that is fine with me. But I want the party beholden to Trump not the other way around.

I donated and still getting emails telling me I didn't. The bank shows they took my money. Their data needs to catch up already instead of trying to shame me into donating with emails every couple hours!

I donated less than I have in the past though, I feel drowned in requests. I get email, texts and snail mail.

Yup... NEVER send a dime to the RNC or any organization other than that of the candidate you support. RNC personnel do not work for free.
