A loophole in the new law granting driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants could allow hundreds of thousands of people to fraudulently register to vote in New York, according to critics, the state Board of Elections and the bill’s own sponsor.
The Green Light Bill, which passed the Senate 33-29 Monday and was signed by Gov. Andrew Cuomo, allows illegal immigrants to obtain “standard” state driver’s licenses that can be used for identification and to board domestic flights.
But it is also the sole document required to register to vote, according to officials.
Even legislative sponsor Luis Sepúlveda (D-Bronx) admitted the provision could be abused.
“Theoretically, they could have the ability to vote,” he said while arguing for the bill during a Monday hearing in Albany.
Voters need only provide a driver’s license number to register to vote, according to BOE spokesman John Conklin.
“If you have a driver’s license number, you basically stop there,” Conklin told The Post Tuesday of the vetting process.

Require birth certificate for FEDERAL elections.
But “voter fraud” is what granting illegals drivers’ licenses is all about. Thought that was obvious.

That was the reason from the very beginning! Nothing more Nothing less. The Rats do not care about the American citizen they are suppose to speak for. They only care about lining their pockets. Would love to know who donate money to their wallets.
WILL lead to voter fraud - and that’s a feature, not a bug.
Besides, as things stand, invading barbarians, where ever they settle, distort the census to favor the Left in the allocation of electoral votes and representative, and the creation of Congressional districts.
Nobody asks for ID when voting. Heck, they even send a mail-in-ballot to anyone that asks.
Anyone that wants to vote 10 times in a single election would find very little difficulty doing it.
I don’t understand why New York needs more voter fraud in favor of the democrats. Don’t they win every election anyway?

Trump better also notify Secretaries of State who over see elections about the deportation.
They----and local election officials----could be prosecuted for voter fraud if deported illegals are found to have voted.

Then see if their capitals are willing to put their own state’s monies where their mouths are.

As though anyone expects Cuomo’s Democrat Mafia to run clean elections. These are crooks, only the newest edition to the putrid history of politics in the Rotten Apple.
Voter fraud??? There ain’t no such words as voter fraud. Since the Dims have lost their minds and accepted communism as a daily life style, voter fraud is a way of life, a common event. No, they will cheat to the high max this election to rid themselves of Trump. They want this nation converted to socialism and they want it now. I only pray the LORD returns for His church before these fools get back into the White House. This nation is going to be converted to communist one of these day. I don’t think it is that far off.
