House Oversight Committee Republicans on Tuesday formally called for an immediate hearing on security breaches at the State Department during Hillary Clinton's leadership, after the department said Monday it had uncovered "multiple security incidents" involving more than a dozen employees.

In a letter to Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings, D-Md., ranking committee Republicans Jim Jordan, Mark Meadows and Jody Hice said State Department officials conducting the ongoing security review into the matter should testify.

"We request a hearing to examine widespread security protocol breaches at the State Department concerning former Secretary Hillary Clinton’s private email server," the Republicans wrote. "The unorthodox and unsecure arrangement she maintained exposed classified, national security and diplomatic-sensitive information to a myriad of risks and related issues.

No Congressional hearings. Try the in abstention if necessary. Arrest The PIAPS. Hang her, her husband, her Mistress, Huma, her daughter and Son-in-Law from telephone poles by their heals. Let them hang there until they die of exposure.

Exterminate the clan

Eleven or so years after the fact. It would appear the entire top echelon of our government, across all agencies, is a seditious nest of self-serving criminals.

Whaddaya bet the statute of limitations has passed for their crimes?

Oh good. Another "Congressional Hearing." Then, some more TV appearances by these bloviating Republicans on Hannity's show, followed by some "Tick Tock" tweets by Hannity.

That will show the criminal Left!

After that, we'll get some "Bombshell!" garbage, and then some "BOOMS!" Maybe even an "IT'S HAPPENING!!" gif meme.

Arrests? Charges? Convictions?

Come on! Don't ask for that? I mean, we gave you a "Tick Tock!"

How about the Senate Republicans? Is the GOP absent again? The House Republican effort is meaningless hot air.

Put them in gibbets instead of just hanging them ... when they expire their skeletons will remind people of what they did and the penalty

The House hearings will be full damage control for Hillary and maximum slime for Donald in order to paint him as a tyrant using the power of government to destroy his political enemies.

Getting criminals like BO and HRC into prison so that we can get corruption out of the State Department, the FBI, the electoral process, etc. is getting something done. Drain the swamp. Lock them up.

“Why no Senate hearings?”

Because guys like Richard Burr ... can’t pin anything on Trump and he needs to protect the demokraps by showing respect for that great Senate tradition, one-way GOP spirit of collegiality. If the tables were turned, sleazy Schumer would be all over it.

Screw the screw the idea of more Kabuki dog and pony shows!

With only a small handful of Republicans who are interested in getting to the truth spread across the House and Senate, these things never go anywhere. More than half of each body -- more in the Dem majority-run House -- are more concerned with shielding Hillary and crew than seeing them be subject to justice.

And most of the toothless, gutless Rs would be spouting that, while these activities are serious, holding the guilty parties accountable would be 'bad for the country.'

The ONLY hope I have is that Barr & Durham are serious about getting to the bottom of the coup attempt and actually DOING something about it. And, frankly, there's not a lot of hope there, either.
